Incredible dip in training speed.

I can't be the only one who noticed this: the training speed upon reaching the age of 22 dips outrageously!! Yeah, I know that with age it slows but the thing is: all the super fast trainers (at the age of 21) suddenly start training slower than 25 y. olds! And what's even more odd - they regain some of the training speed when they turn 23!

Here are examples:

1) This is streching on normal intensity. Now, all four 22 y. olds in the picture were the fast trainers (you can compare how much SPs they've gained in last days of previous season) and now they gain like that 25 y. old who WAS NEVER a fast trainer!!

2) This is practice match on normal intensity. Again, both 22 y. olds seen here were fast trainers and now they gain less than BOTH 25 y. olds of whom one I thought was a SLOW TRAINER. Also, notice the 23 y. old. He had the same dip in training speed last season (again see the unassigned SPs) and now he gains more than 22 y. olds!!

So if I'm really not the only one getting this and more importantly not the only one being pissed off by this we could start a campaign like with the old transfer market and make Nordeus fix this nonsense!!

I hear you. Same problem. I had a fast trainer who turned 22 and now he gains 38 when he trains high on a practice match. I am very pissed off, I invested a lot of green packs to get him an aerial defender SA, with the objective to keep him for several seasons as my main DC, and now he is stuck. I guess they want to promote that people buy and sell more and more players, almost forcing you to change the whole team every season.

Eh, from a developers (and shareholders) point of view this is the basic requirement of the game.
If you are promoted every season then your squad can't keep up, unless you spend money.
This isn't FIFA or something like that where you purchase and then it's yours, this is a game designed specifically for season on season spending from the player. 'Built in obsolescence' is the advertising phrase I think, where a manufacturer purposely builds a product that needs replaced.
if you don't accept that, or find small ways round it, then you are going to be mighty pissed off every time you log in.

Unless you repeat these very same things hundreds if not thousands of times over then it will just continue to appear random to us.
No one is quite sure how the developers have programmed the game, but we do know they have done it to make consumers spend, by slowing training speed as a player ages. You have shown an anomaly in one instance but it needs to be repeated over and over again for us to have an understanding
A couple of guys have recorded things like this and put them in spread sheet form, and it's great, but even that gives a very limited view of how things work overall

Ok, making it clear for the dumb, the point is: if training speed depends on market value and age (that's what the Devs say) then it makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE that 22 y. o. fast trainers (according to MV) suddenly start training slower than 25 y. o. NOT fast trainers (again MV).


This. Has. To. Be. Sorted. Out.

The training speed is bracketed. It is true it slows as they age, but it falls in brackets, it is not gradual. I was under the impression though that it was at 21 that it slows down, because that is the age they turn from a youngster into a hot prospect. They slow even more when they go from a hot prospect to developed, which is at 24, and then after that the training more or less levels out somewhat

It could be 22, but I was going off how Top Eleven classifies its players. Maybe it deals with how long they are training with a team?

Thoes are the fast trainers i bought a season ago, both with verry high price for their level.

Even tho they'r already 6stars thoes guys used to get about 30-35 progress last season when they were 6stars.

Looks like my fastest trainer aside from two 19 y. olds will be a 25 y. old. Great.

6/7 these 22 y. olds were rarely getting less than +20% last season and look at them now... Skoda (the bottom one) was 2nd fastest out of them...

maybe they need more matches?

or maybe one of the things nordeus adjusted was training speed

I wont lie here, 6 skill progress for 22 y.o guy suck hairly ballz as nordeus do, Im pretty sure they did smth to the training system as im curentlly powertraining some of my players and i can notice the difference..

Yeah, Skoda was always getting around 20% last season and Dapkus with Dantas both around 25%. Look at their unassigned SPs: 25, 25, 31. It's from Day 20 of last season. And Yulinahar (the one faster training 25 y. o.) has 17 since the same day even though he probably played more than all of them.

The first youngster I had that got to 21 yo and kept going fast not noticed his rate this season yet.

But iirc Sid and I did have a similar thing last season with 120+ gain then huge drop without age chane or anything....just out of the blue it was 4 or 5 slow trains then high t for 1 then back down, so unless you've did a lot of training and its been consistently lower then keep an eye on it. Eventually it went away for me....glitch is what I concluded.

Every bracket they drop a bit. Continuous training gives slightly diminished gain.

I haven't noticed anything changed in what I expect in training gains, but I have an older team.

My 22 yo who was never the fastest trainer but just decent just got 15/52/83 on hard. His rate has not fallen off a cliff.

I suspect your observations are being skewed by having a fast training 25yo to compare to.

But as I said before you might be observing a glitch or more likely a persistent low end result (large variation).

Here's what I thought this morning: since training speed depends on market value, maybe my players were training slow because they have a lot of unassigned SPs (25-30 each). So I assigned all 370 saved SPs. The said players went up about 2Q levels, most gained 4th*. The market value increased to be slightly higher than at the end of last season.

And guess what? NOTHING.

Just more horrible examples:

1) Stretching on normal. All these 22 y. olds were gaining at least TWICE more than this 24 y. old last season

2) Cardio on normal. Looks like these two switched their training speed: now the 23 y. o. is gaining what the 22 y. o. was gaining last season. 11% on cardio, that's what a SCOUT of his age would earn but Sieber is NOT a scout, he's 2SPs off his 3rd* star...

It used to be always like that.... I buy players only for 4 seasons ... in age 23 are too old and slow for me... I always sell them.. there are always managers out there who buy them .. so no worries there... I have 23 players in my squad , average age is 20.1 . Enough said.

it's quite normal that your fast trainer slow his trainning when he is 22. and a 25yo player can better than your 22 yo easily if when he was 21 yo he has better than the one now 22 yo when he(22yo) was 21 yo
42Q and 7m6 mean they are just good trainner but not the best one,

I highly doubt that I could've bought a 25 y. o. who when at age of 21 was a faster trainer than my 21 y. o. (now 22) who somtimes was getting nearly 200% from a match WITHOUT MOTM.

Also, look at other examples with 23, 24 y. olds. I had the when they were 21 and they were NOT fast trainers.

6* training speed drop also, did the 22 yo is 5* player ? are they near 6* (mean 1Q to 6*, non assigned points must be counted in ) i see clearly your 23-24yo aren't fast trainer

Here's a qoute of my own post. I'm fully aware that training speed drops significantly with 6th*.
Unfortunately, the 22 y. olds that we are talking about here are 2, 3 and 4 stars.

you must compare player in the same star, 3 star and 2 star might be the same
