Goalie qualities

Hi,

in case of goalies which qualities are important? What option would be more efficient?

1. Goalie: 5* Def:35 Att:30 Phys:30
2. Goalie: 4* Def:40 Att:20 Phys:30
3. Goalie: 4* Def:45 Att:15 Phys:30

(It's just an example, I've made up the points and stars).

I would say 3. goalie is the best as attack is useless for goalies. Am I wrong ?

You're so wrong. Firstly, having def 45 and att 15 is not even possible - max difference between attributes can be only 20. Secondly, your with only 15 att would pass like sh*t. I think 2nd choice is the best if att was 25 and phys 35 because my goalie is smth like that and he's been saving me so far through this crappy season.

You are absolutely right if a difference of more than 20 was allowed...

For GK the only and most important is DEFENSE...

And little bit of Physical and Mental...

And Attack is useless...

I am not saying this, this has been said by the developers......

Just asking because lots of times I see goalies with equal attack and defence, if not even more attack.

Ofcourse equal or higher attack on goalies is stupid but going too far is not the best idea either, see:

It was last season, I happened to get into a very easy league so thought just why not All those goals are from free-kicks and penalties
