So in a bit over an hour I have a live match.... real active human manager
and everything.... he went from 13.9 average skill a few hours ago to 15.3
now.... so he's actually playing!!!
So he seems to prefer the 4-2-1-2-1 diamond....
Ideas on what I should counter with?
I was thinking about a 4-5-1 V.... normal, both flanks, own half, normal, mixed, zonal, ca

4-5-1 V is the way then.
The tactics you have is good. I would even put red arrows on your DL and DR since he can't hurt you from the flanks, that gives you better passing to your AML and AMR. Just remember no offside trap and you're good to go.
The V will be fine, if you want to give it some extra poke up front play two strikers as he has only two you only need 3 DC's.
I find when playing like this, as you don't have DR/DL, play defensive, with counter and long passing mixed focus from zonal.
You know what.... I can't watch this....
I tried to hide my formation from my opponent so I didn't select my real one until a minute
before game time....
guess whjat.... ya can't!!!! I'm screwed!

So that's how I had to start the match...
Between my computer and the server it took 28 minutes of match time to get my
formation straight.... in that time we spotted the opponent 1 goal....
At the end.... we lost 3-2..... that's just wrong....
So does anyone know the limit?

Learn from your mistakes. I knew back in L1 when I tried to use a booster 4 minutes before kick off, it said players already entered the field and I can't do those things.Quote:

no i think it's three minutes before kick off. after that you cannot make any changes on your team. i usually use the fake formation when i face active and strong opponent. but be careful since the server can be down at anytime. you don't want the engine to simulate your match during the maintenance using your fake formation
You can make changes to your formation and apply boosters upto the point it says "4 minutes" once it goes "3 minutes" thats when it says changes cannot be made because players are entering the field.
ups i forget to type "three" on my post before :p
but fyi i can always make changes on my squad right after four goes down to three. maybe about 20 seconds after that. so i would say that the exact time is about 2.5 minutes
