Player Negotiations - How Do They Work?

Does anyone know HOW a Player Negotiation works? I know you can choose to offer Coin and Token for a Player and all that but what I want to know is this;

1. How to put a Player on the Negotiation List
2. If a Player is on the Negotiation List, why can't you win the Player by being the only Manager making and offer in the 24 Hour Period
3. Why are most the Players on the Negotiation List owned by Inactive Managers who don't play anymore and can't Accept/Decline the Offer

I don't know if this has been explained, but I can't seem to find a thread like this on here and I have no idea how it's meant to work otherwise.

U can not put player there, player automatically will be placed there, once they are 1sp away from 6 star (scout), and many player only play T11 on phone, they don't check desktop, so its possible u offer the cash n token to a cellphone player and there is no negotiation option yet, so they don't even know one of their player is on the list, so i don't think the manager are inactive (cause u need train ur player to get them 1sp to scout), they just never get notified there's an offer

1- yes player`s need to be 1 skill point away from next star and they auto go on list, you can only neg from level 4 and up and the higher go you can sell 1/2/3/4/5 star player`s i`m currently level 20 and have a 1 star player that is 1 skill away from next star so 4/5 level`s below will see a 5 star player it`s just waiting for bid to come in

2- other manager has option to sell for bid or set selling price for you to buy

2- if they are playing on phone then they can`t see bid but if on laptop they will see but some manager`s won`t sell and will just make you wait to get your token back if it`s a poor offer

Point 2 - if my player is on the list, then the offer has to be very good for me to sell him and on many occasions I do not want to sell anyway. Also it has happened when I have bought a player via negotiations and someone has tried to buy him straight away. I just let the time runout or I reject all bids

It would be nice if there was a toggle on/off state for a player to be eligible for negotiations or not - with the default state being 'Not for Sale'.

This is why i place player`s in bottom 4/5 of squad anything above then NO HOPE IN SELLING

edit; the other thing i do is player`s that want i leave 3 skill point`s away from next star, no-one can bid then unless from same league and they the same odds as Hull winning the premiership

Good advice.

Although my suggestion was more from the point of view of knowing that someone on the list was at least marked as being 'open to offers' so others looking at them were sure that the other Manager would consider selling them - current position is the person offering doesn't know.
