Yes it will, you lose the players, they start from day 1 again on completion of your upgrade.

just realised that too - two days before my youth players were due... grrrrrrr!
I work my upgrades around youth pulls. Not always easy to plan it though.
I wasn't aware of this, that is why I have only got 2 players in 3 seasons, DOH!
What else affects stuff? I am currently upgrading my training facilities, does this have an effect on training? I think it delays rest packs, am I right?
Upgrading the grass doesn't seem to do anything for home games, strange that, you would think the players might struggle while the pitch is being dug up for sprinklers.
