So another game against an abandoned and weaker team....mostly
2* 10 and 11 guys... vs. my 3* 18s and 19s and 4* players....

We dominated the match.... except my guys don't score... WTF???
OH.... AND I got up at 5:00 to be there for the match.... did it matter??
Could you supply a screenshot of your formation, and if possible, a brief-yet-informative description of how healthy and happy your players were before the match began? You may also need to go into more detail for your opponents goalie's statistics, as he may be stronger in his saves than anything else.
Tough luck is all I can say. Maybe you should also try giving your players a win bonus of 2.5K. It's not a lot, really, and it motivates them just enough-- so I believe.
Game engine diarrhoea, simple as, smells doesn't it! :(

Just played league game away had 60/40 possession yet still lost, but what really peeved me was talk about ref supporting home team, they did 15 fouls and no booking i did two fouls resulting in two yellow cards against same player meaning he`s off, my tackle style is on normal,
how the feck can a team get 15 fouls and no booking yet other only 2 bookings resulting in sending off

All players at 98%+ condition...
Morale pretty good considering the teams morale tanked during a 6 game win
streak.... hard to get that back without a token buy....
Already give win bonuses.... have since day 2 last season...

Basically on my server it seems that if you want to win you have 2 options...
BUY BUY BUY tokens... only 1 person on the entire server seems to be doing
that...
ABANDON ABANDON ABANDON.... what the vast majority of managers on this
server have done....
There are no bidding wars even.... no auction goes past KO round 3.... nobody
plays.... but the top teams are are bot run now....
Without a new server it seems like this game may be unplayable....
Seriously this may make you quit? do you think Sir Alex Ferguson thought on no I lost in the cup to a low league team when they lost to York years ago. These things happen and today was just your unlucky day.

So I was so mad after that game I went back to bed and completely ignored my Cup game 2 hours later....
So all those SAME guys went in with NO REST... NO SUBS... NO NUTTIN.... and won 4-0.... no problem....

I've had 2 bad losses to abandoned teams already.... plus some hard fought wins against same teams....
AND I've been taken in by the 4 minutes before gametime rule.... which led to a loss...
I've been forced to give up cash and tokens on players I can't use... all because of a lack of information

And Lvl 1 I took over half way thru the season.... so I inherited a Top 3 team....

As far I see from here, he HAS ILLEGAL FORMATION, or ILLEGAL PLAYERS in current formation. So move players from DC to S3, move MR player to avoid negative ball possession.
Put ST who plays at AMC to AMC spot, also AVOID negative ball possession.
After these two correction table should turn into your favor. Enjoy game!
I had SAME problem at start, also crappy players, but changed it.

Game mechanics here states that illegal position of player is every time he is in position that he does not have written in his skills. Exclamation mark states that he is not in his trained position.
DC CANNOT BE ST. Of course DC CAN SCORE GOAL. Put GK as penalty shooter and eventually he will score goal from there.
This worked for me. I was angry when players got injured for long period...so I stopped being angry :D and got new players :D

But teams with a mc on gk can play sometimes good because if the handling of the mc is high rated , i think he can be a good gk.

Im lvl 2 too and +- 7 teams in my league are abandoned. There're even two abandoned teams (A & B) with less than 15 players got through playoff match and they played each other in qualifying match. A vs B 3-0, B vs A 3-0.
I think it's better when a season has ended, there should be a box that say "You have finished (number) during the last season . Go to the next season?" If the manager click "okay" to confirm then his team can go to the next level, or stay at his current level if he is not promoted. This should be done at the first day of the season. That way no abandoned team will make it to the next level by luck.

bro, even in the game life, there's no such thing as "your probability to win against weaker-abandoned team is 100%".
So there is still a chance for you to lost against them, so bear with it.
