Season 58

League (yesterday): Obviously Buffs FC are made of stronger stuff than their league rivals as a 4-2 home win opens up an 8 point gap pver the stumbling pack.

Additionally, now that all players are back from injury after seeing the midfield decimated over the last week Buffs Mad is hopeful that the mythical injury season:p:rolleyes: remains just that and the Buffs can coast to the title. But its never that simple.

OMA Masters League Update: South Conference

Unfortunately Skelpt Bahookie choose grain over graft as he opted for the Pub last night and neglected Dependiente as they went down 3-2 at home to t11_fan's TSG Hoffenheim to leave Dependiente with only CL Qualification security as the realistic target.

When interviewed Skelpt said "You're ma best pal. I love you. Who you looking at? Wanna fight?......" then a brawl broke out and we made our excuses and left.

dam drew 2-2 with leader`s and i was 2-0 up plus they had player sent off and i missed penalty and they scored 2 in last 10 minutes

We won today, but price was high... Our best player this season (average rating 8.00 in 19 games, seven times rated 9 and five times rated 8) got 2 games suspension (and I play next 2 games vs. direct rivals for CL) for spiting at opponent player while we were winning 3-1 at that moment... He got "frustrated" 'cause he owned opponent's attacker or what? Should it be the opposite? Frustrated attacker who couldn't score a goal 'cause of dominating defender spited at him?

League: Buffs FC continues to dominate league opponents second half of season (if only in performance terms rather than goals) with a 3-0 away win. All Buffs players rated 7 or more. With it goalless at HT and new AML flattering to deceive, Jim Baxter came off the bench and struck twice in 15 mins. Goota love bringing on wingers with fresh legs ;)

Still 8pts ahead as highest ave Q team charges through the pack into 2nd.

PS Suspensions impacting more an more now with 1 Left Back out of CL tie tonight and MC out for league tomorrow. :(

Going to abandon my daily report for the Galacticos (After poor results I rage named them **** team FC and sticking with it)

I am also going to try the tanking strategy for the first time as they were already 11 points off 1st before the manager decided to throw the towel on this season shortcomings, basically a new job ruined my Top Eleven career and dedication is at an all time low as well as unexplainable results lead the manager to his decision. The **** Team FC will play to avoid promotion so they will not get listed in another token buying league. They can technically still fight but if they keep getting drawn in the leagues which people actually buys tonnes of tokens every season then its going to impact my wallet long term.

Will try to win the CL though, good luck everyone :)

P.S I know I'm a sore loser but trying to find out ways which will make it easier on my wallet..

P.P.S I'm now becoming the thing I dislike the most for the last 3/4 seasons.... Tanking. Which brings my head in shame..

League match. 2-0. The daily stuff, nothing much.

However this match, was the one I had to be on top to get through. And, I don't know, my players decided to be extremely efficient. McGuiness scores two on his own. Cantareil gives two beautiful corner opportunities to Arwaresuemae who drives it in with his head. Amazing match from everyone, defense was on top, letting no one through and as usual Stewart was doing great in the goal. 4-0 what a win!

Do what you need to do without shame. Plenty of folks seem to be having a "doesn't matter what I do we struggle" time of it at the moment. Luckily its not me but several teams behind me and on friends list just seem to be imploding. ;)
