CHAMPION'S LEAGUE:
Academy FC hosted Real Madesu FC last night in the 2nd league of CL Round of 16 and won easily 3-0 (with subs and reserves) giving them a 9-1 aggregate score and pushing them through to the next round.
Goal - Min (Assist): Meliani - 16' (Cesani); Evangelatos - 43' (Niyokindi); Bachorksi 48'.
LEAGUE:
Academy FC (34.4*, 3rd place) played at hkn poijat (24.5*, 10th) in a league match this morning. In effort to makeup goal differential, AFC played all starters and won easily 7-0.
Goal - Min (Assist): Aminou - 5' (Casanova); Hesse - 33', 38', 54' (Elkayam); Uda - 37' (Casanova); Casanova - 70' (Bandar); Waterman - 77' (Hesse).
This wins puts AFC alone in 3rd place (2 points behind 1st and 2nd, and with a greater goal differential than 2nd). Fourth place is 3 points behind, and 5th is 6 points behind. All teams are level on matches played. Yaria FC (1st place) lost to AFC and the 2nd place team, before beating the 12th place team to stop the skid and climb back on top. AFC plays at Yaria FC for the final match of the season, which may decide the league if the current form of all teams remains the same.
Today's games. This first one, I log on and I'm losing 1-0, wut? But not to worry, I make a few changes in tactics and L. Diaz suddenly decides to become God and gets involved in EACH AND EVERY GOAL. #beastmode. Also Al-nawayseh not missing his attempts, that's actually a nice change of pace from him.

Second game was a pushover. Yeah he got a goal (and once again my two games of the day have identical score) but he was so low in Q compared to my guys I even had an AML play AMR and he still scored. Bernardes is a beast anyway. Both games everyone played well, quite happy with my squad's form. And we are through to quarters in CL!!
Attachment 30828
Tomorrow's games. First one, I don't know how he does it but he still manages to be 4th with this Q. Props to him. So I'm using B team against him and testing a formation against a 4-3-3 to see if it works. Also having Bernardes play MR instead of ML because he is a beast anywhere he goes.
Attachment 30825
This game however. Not gonna be easy, high Q player. We drew first game, I hope playing at home is gonna give me the advantage. Having my B team for the first game will be good for my best player's condition as they will have to give their all for this one. Do not concede and score at least one to not have to go through pens (biggest fear!)

League: Tonight's game was another installment in the Buffs' rivalry against Fenerbahce - its now the 4 season that they have been league opponents. The Buffs were at home, the previous encounter had ended 2-2.
These games have always been a strange affair: Fenerbahce ditch the experiments and play their favoured ND which on paper should favour Buffs' favoured 4-5-1V but the games are almost always close.
Buffs Mad prepared his charges for the early onslaught from Fenerbahce but it never came and Buffs dominated the opening exchanges. The left flank was, as always, proving to be the Buffs main threat but Striker Denis Law spurned 3 early chances. Academy graduate Baxter was enjoying some freedom and when he cut n from the left the defender had no choice but to bring him down. Archie Gemmill stepped up and floated a ball onto the head of Law and he couldn't miss that one. 1-0 after 8.
The early flurry abated and Fenerbahce came back into it. They were defending valiantly and relishing a period of midfield possession but had no cutting edge. It seemed the Buffs had their frontline wrapped up until Fenerbahce's AMC got free for once - and once was enough as be bulletted one in the top corner. 1-1 after 26.
The Buffs then resumed control and kept it. Denis Law weaved his way through for a superb solo effort on the half hour. 2-1
Buffs maintained a possession advantage and strangled the midfield while pushing on the flanks. HT came.
As the Buffs restarted, Darren Fletcher, MC, but deputising at DMC for the suspended Alan Hutton, looked lively and when the ball bobbled out from a defensive mistake he pounced to drill home the 3rd with just a minute of the second half gone. 3-1
Buffs Mad decided to give Baxter on the left a rest and a further opportunity for recent recruit Davie Cooper to get some game time. In his last match Cooper had come off the bench for a hat-trick. But this time after 6 mins he turned provider as right winger Willie Henderson finally came into the game and angled a drive in off the back post. 4-1 And Law added another 2 mins later after being fed by the dancing Cooper. 5-1.
Fenerbahce then came alive again exerting sustained pressure for the next 10 mins - and gained further consolation through striker Tosun as he curled one home at the back stick. Good control from a guy who had hardly seen the ball until then. 5-2
Hat-trick hero Denis Law made way for Ally McCoist in the final 10. McCoist went close with his first touch, screwing the ball narrowly wide. He then got closer when he ruffled the side-netting. But alas the clock defeated his attempts at a goal and the referee blew up for full time.
So the Buffs return to the top of the league with an improved GD after title rival Airfreight's narrow win against a back-marker.
Final Score: Buffs FC 5-2 Fernerbahce.
Goals: Law, ST (8, 31, 58), Fletcher, DMC (46), Henderson, AMR (56)Turan, AMC (26), Tosun, ST (73)
Bookings: \o/ feckin none \o/
Highlights: 9 rated performance from Denis Law but the team was the winner with yet again every Buffs player rating 7 or more.

Bad day - lil' Dependiente slump to a 2-1 loss in the South Conference of the OMA Masters League;
Celtic Rangers lose 3-0 to a vastly superior team in the CL after a brave 1-1 home draw and then see their league recovery cruelly halted with a 5-0 thrashing from the league leader, which CR pipped to the title last term.
Oh I forgot, new player in the squad. New MC replacing my old one that wasn't as good.
18 yo as well, so he's got a good carreer in front of him!

Showdown for the title tonight (hosting the leader) A draw o victory keeps me in position, a defeat makes things complicated ;) http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...7efd634307.jpg
Jo'Burg FC played an away match today against a squad of youngsters, thought it would be a tough match to overcome but instead was a walk in the park, got a 3-0 away victory to keep that 1st position. Goals came from MC Orudzhev 9', 49' and newly signed ST Artico 57'.
Still 1 point in front of 2nd. Will be playing opponent in 2nd position tomorrow, home game!
managed to win just 4-3 at home i was winning comfortably 4-0 but 3 goals by them in the last 10 minutes gave me a almighty fright
FK Partizan - Day 18 - League
Important away win vs. 10 stars stronger opponent... Finally a goal and rating 8 from MC LOURENÇO after dozen of 5s and 6s... AMR DJOGOVIĆ made his 100 appearances in the league, and 2 days ago he made his 150 appearance in all official games. He scored 115 goals and assisted 128 times so far.

Today's games.
First one went very well. 4-0, great game from everyone. Mahmood being really efficient, it's nice to see!
This was the big game and I couldn't get the win. He had a much stronger team and I couldn't find the appropriate counter for it. Somehow my guys started making fouls every single minute, it was ridiculous. We're out of the cup, it's a sad day for the team.
Tomorrow's match.
Usual league match. I don't really care, I'm winning this league, I'm owning it hard.
1/4 finals, 1st leg. Ok, an other strong team. I really want to win this one. Come on lads, we can do it! Let's get the league and CL cup!!
FK Partizan - Day 18 - Cup
We failed to go through to Cup Semi-finals this season. Opponent was 11 stars stronger, so we tried to surprise him with tactical changes early in the game (despite of not having right players for that formation - 3 players OOP). We even scored a goal first (1-0 would be enough to go through 'cause we lost away game 1-2), but we didn't have enough time to change mentality to defensive, 'cause 3 minutes later they scored equalizer and then one more to end our hopes... Opponent also had 10 players with special abilities, and we had none... We did manage to reduce their shots on target to only 4, but 50% efficiency was good enough for them to win... My team rating was extremely poor and they got all sevens... This is the first time in my 500+ career games to see that Man of the Match is rated 7 only...

League: Buffs FC win 4-0 at home to go 4pts clear at the top.
The visitors lined up....blah blah.....
Sorry, but all attention is now on tomorrows CL matches.
Franchise News
Celtic Rangers back on track, beat 2nd, 3pts off CL spot (played top 2 home n away now), Shangalang FC won to move into second (1* Lee Low scored in his 200 and sonethingth game) and OMA Rep. Dependiente won to stay 2nd but well back.
Cheeribye ;)
Well I won my chorrychorra match against the last 7-0 and I've 9 points advantadge. I can say league finished?
The answer is no. :o
Academy FC (34.7*, 3rd) played at Chelsea fc (29.9*, 6th) this afternoon in a league match. AFC's new signing, Bobga Adah (AML) found the back of the net in his first match, just before half time. With 8 minues left, Adah's counterpart, Orem Elkayam (AMR) scored, and the match ended 2-0. Both goals were unassisted.
The win means AFC retains 3rd place by itself, just two points behind 1st and 2nd. They are tied on points, but 1st place has a +63 goal differential and 2nd is only +48 (I am currently at +52). This evening:
AFC hosts xuanquanfc (24.4*, 7th)
Yaria (35.7*, 1st) hosts labeneamata (32.6*, 5th)
2nd place (34.8*) plays away at Noval FC (21.1*, 11th).
WTF!!! I lost 4-3 to the above noted team! This is bullsh*t! They had a jacked up formation, didn't even show up to watch, and didn't have an injured player subbed off. How the hell did I lose to a team rated 10Q below me, when the manager didn't show up (I had +13% possession), and they played a man down for over half the match? Bogus.
Tapa-what?
Jo'Burg FC played a home match against opponent in 2nd position. First time around opponent beat us 4-1, so coming into this match we knew it was going to be a test. 17' into the game, striker (Deltoff) got a yellow card for a reckless challenge but managed to injure his DMC:) opponent brought on another DMC and in the 32' substitute got a yellow card. 46' opponent DC got a yellow card, 51' opponent striker (top goal scorer) converted to make it 0-1... 61' opponents DC got served with a 2nd yellow card and was sent to have an early shower, Jo'Burg FC's MR (Dinhle Strand) took the freekick and scored! 63' substitute, off goes ST (Deltoff) who accumulated a yellow card and on comes ST (Volker). 67' opponents DMC got a 2nd yellow card to send him into the stands, 2nd red card, penalty awarded! MC (Ferrin) steps up and puts it through the middle to make the scores 2-1 in favor of Jo'Burg FC. 74' substitute ST (Volker) scores to make it 3-1.. 87' MC (Haglof) converted to end the match 4-1!! WELL DONE BOYS!! Manager full of smiles!
Jo'Burg FC still top with 3 points clear!
won my 5th league game in a row and with 10 men but luckily i was 2-0 up at the time unfortunately leaders won so still 9pts behind
Today's games:
Easyyyyyy. 6-0, all day, everyday. They injured my MC so I had to bring in a better one and he started wrecking ****. That'll teach'em.

The big game. Once again faced with a strong team. Both of us watching the match. Manage to score early and within the last minutes, I thought Nordeus was going to bring out the draw that he loves so much. My opponent got two big actions towards the end of the match, a strike, that deflected thanks to my amazing keeper, and the corner that came afterwards. Defence always above and headed it out.
1-0 away, need to show the same form at home!

Tomorrow's game:
Now that I'm out of the cup (*sadness*), I only have one match. It'll give me more time to train my guys.

Champions League: Buffs FC pop over to Toronto grab the 2-1 win and pop back. SC Toronto's 4-3N-1-2 was matched against Buffs' 4-5-1V. Two goals by Denis Law in the first 30 mins sent the travelling Buffs Barmy Army loopy. At HT Buffs Mad rested the 2 wingers with reserves Cooper and Henderson on. Toronto pulled one back on the 74th minute but the Buffs stood firm. 5th season Scouted player DL/DC 4* Alex McLeish proved again he's not ready to move on with a sterling 8 rated performance but AML Johnstone grabbed MoM. O.o
Afterwards Buffs Mad said "How was I supposed to know Johnstone was putting in a MoM performance when I hauled him off at HT? Couldn't see a thing for those big hairy-assed Lumberjacks and their Moose-chicks in front of me!"
Oops *runs*
Belgrade United - Day 19 - League
We lost today vs. 10 stars stronger opponent and went down to 4th place...

@dkb2005 (To add on Chester's post) at least none of your players suffered injury in this match, or i'm wrong?
It happens and annoys everyone. I've never noticed big difference after man down (red card or non-substituted injured player)
Things have been going alot better for the team since going back to level 1 in June.
First time around, my team just couldn't get over the hump. Best finishes were CL 2nd place (x2), CL semi-final (x1) and cup semi-final (x1), with 6 league titles lvl (1,2,4,5,6,7).
Second time around, the team has been alot more successful, with a tremble at lvl 2, double at lvl 3 + 3rd place in the cup and currently in level 4 we're off to the cup semi-finals and won 3-1 away in the first leg of the champions league quarter-final.
still 9 points behind leaders after a 3-1 win against 3rd and my 6 league win in a row plus i have leader`s tomorrow and then 3rd who where 4th next day

Jo'Burg FC got the 5th win in a row in the league with a 1-0 away victory over opponent in 3rd, unfortunately lost 2-1 away in the CL quarters, 2nd leg still to come. Still top of the league with 2 points clear from 2nd, boys will be fighting till the end!
League (yesterday): Buffs FC travel to Israel where opportunity knocks. 2nd had drawn and 3rd lost - they don't like Squeaky Bum time? So the advantage was 3pts and counting.
So out stepped the home side in half-Hex/half-4-4-2 (AML & MR) and the Buffs stepped up in 4-5-1V (we're getting a run of these ;) )
Again the Buffs stormed out the traps with 2 goals in first 30 mins. This time they were not pegged back by the opposition after HT but by fate as Right Winger Henderson was the first to drop with a 2 day ego strain then Archie Gemmill, who scored the opener, tumbled in a heap with a 5 day ACL Tear.
2-0 win and a 6pt gap but at a cost with Gemmill the midfield lynchpin out for the CL home leg. Looks like Buffs Mad will be spending a lot of time with Blue Label, Ben's Beginners.... et al.
Breaking News: No longer are bums just squeaking but the pressure seems to have tore the rivals a new one as 2nd and 3rd both draw - so Buffs lead is 5pts with a game in hand.
Well, no one left, behind the top 2 a huge gap, so i will use the remaining games for a few experiments, only be able to win the league if 2nd draw again o loses in the remaining games, i don't count on it, but if 2nd i would still be pretty ok with it http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...b19608f54c.jpg

Just to let everyone know that the last week of the season, tomorrow is not the start of injury season, that is a myth. Suddenly, you have a massive injury list in the last days of the season is purely coincidence and has nothing to do with an evil cash grabbing plot by Nordeus. That is unthinkable to increase injuries just when you are in a league race or cup finales, no is it just a myth.
Nordeus doesn't want your stinking money! OK! They are rich!
P.S. ST and MC injured in bunny farm friendly.
