Is random luck a big part of the game?

I am not complaining just wondering if there is any point in trying to master the game when there seems to be random inconsitant variables effecting results.

I've bought a load of new players but I haven't read anywhere that players need bedding in time!



I've a team that's on average of 29 and generally playing against teams around 20 and in all cases games are very close. Even games against teams with illegal tactics and 80% possession are tight! I know this can happen from time to time but it's like bayern Munich or Real Madrid consistently struggling to beat teams at the bottom of the league or teams from lower divisions!

after yesterdays result and today`s too dam true, i`v all the possession and shots against far weaker teams and drew 1 ( 11 rating lower ) and today i`m 6 and 9 rating better and lost both again all the possession and shot`s yet i play a team in league yesterday that`s similar rating and i comfortably win ?? and all player`s i`v had since last season

Yes! Late goals or injury, heavy injury on high quallity top form player, red card for full morale player. hitting bars, missing penaly...
There is lot of non-controlable factors that can change outcome of match and make someone luck or unlucky.

Yep. Luck plays its part....learn what you can affect and try to shake off what you can't. If you're constantly unlucky then its likely not to be luck.

Just remember the golden rule of T11: if you lose shout "Troll" and if you win shout "Genius" ;)

Luck has definitely a part in this but smart tactics are core to the game. Even in close games, I managed to turn things around to win or at least secure a draw.

i also notice that if a team has a player that got injured in a match after a few minutes the team will score a goal..sometimes consecutive goals..like 3, 4, 5 goals :confused:

When best player gets injured I don't really care about result.

true well i was last season, this season best team and now i`m getting bitten in the ass ;)

I can destroy higher quality teams, but I always struggle against lower quality teams :(
