Investment in club with REAL money by purchasing tokens

Having played the game for 9 months now and largely enjoying the experience, I just wanted to ask other players out there if they agree with me on a certain aspect of the game.
It seems almost certain to me that there is something in place to prevent players from 'buying' success by investing real money and buying tokens to improve their squad etc.
At first, in the interests of fairness, this seems sensible but in reality it handicaps the dedicated players who are so involved with the game that they see it as 'worth it' when paying you REAL money to gain an advantage in the game.
I have noticed a marked difference between playing without buying tokens and spending my money on tokens to help me guide my club to success. More injuries to players, more shock results, more strange dips in form/morale and general bad luck.
I thought i was imagining things and it really was just bad luck until I experimented again with both methods of gameplay.
Buying no tokens and using only rewards won through gameplay was again tricky to manage but appeared once more to be luckier with results and injuries.
The second time i tried buying tokens to boost my clubs fortunes, the same thing happened again, a much greater amount of bad fortune occurred at every step and when i tried investing more my results and luck got worse.
It has to be too big a coincidence to be chance so can anybody explain this?
If I'm right, I'd like to ask the developers, "If you do apply a handicap to paying players making the game harder so that its fair for everyone, why should I or anyone pay when it is easier for free?"

Play the game as you like, you'r free to spend your money on whatever you want/need to.
Some players like spending and i believe that's cause they take topeleven as hobby.. and you know, people spend money for their hobbies cause they'r havving fun and they would like to pay for it.
Others are playing for free cause they like that way..

You'r free to do anything you want on topeleven as long as you don't break any rules.
In case there are other moral/spiritual etc rules in your point of view, respect them^^ but keep in mind that there are priorities in life
and you should look after tham, afterall it's just a game and we play it for fun^^

Thanks for your reply and I agree with you. As much as i enjoy topeleven its far from the top of my list of priorities. I was merely asking why the players who enjoy it so much that they take as a hobby and then spend money on it are rewarded with a harder gameplay experience. Its a fair point.

I agree with your feeling Chris. The more you do/spend, the more you'll have to do/spend, and that's not only with tokens. My latest example is with morale boosters. I decided to trade the few tokens left for these blue boosters and all I got was a team whose morale decreased even faster than before, even after an easy victory.
Now that I've decided not to care about my players' morale, it seems to have stabilized... even with 5 draws in a row.

as a non token buyer i see no difference to you and me last season i had 13 injuries in 8 days this season faired a better until last 2 days where i`v had 4 injuries so expecting more over the next few days and with result against these so called weaker teams i`v had a nightmare against them so far this season with in my few the worse being 1-1 against a team 14 quality lower and then despite having 60% + possession against team in the league that are 7/8 quality lower i`m losing by the odd goal

My injuries are not related to token purchases, my losses are not related to token purchases and my 35T team have not had their 12 injury of the Season because of non-existant token purchases.

My injuries and losses are either because Nordeus tweaked their code just to get at me only or because my lucky white socks that I wear for T11 got washed with red ones and are now unlikely pinks or.....

One thing that also has to be considered is the quantity of tokens that are bought.

as stated above as a non token buyer i`m now getting walloped with injuries only had 1 game today and 3 injuries, new they where coming

I guess they always have a hope that some long-term non token buyers will become token buyers one day... Injury curse is 1 way to do it, finance issues at higher level another way, you name it...

I would have thought it would be the other way round and the farmers get hammered with bad luck rather than the token buyers ?

They probably target them as well, but you really have heavy token farmers. A guy on this forum managed to get 10K tokens so maybe 1 day, his grand grandchildren will buy some. :-)
I cannot tell for the others as I can't farm tokens myself.

Maybe the "luck" parameter would be better for you if you invest real money,hahaha....

I saw the post about the 10k tokens. That guy must spend 24/7 watching videos and downloading apps. I manage about 15 tokens a week and buy 80 every 3-4 seasons depending on scout purchases. I've not noticed any difference in my run of luck with regards injuries etc.

I have teams that are 35T, I have farmed T Teams, and a Team I buy tokens for. The injuries average out pretty much the same over the long term..though my main Team gets a lot more from training.. the non-T buying teams do better in Cup, though.

I now have two teams on the same level and the Leagues are very different, I am pretty sure that after friends on level league draw takes into account Q, which is nice for non-T buyers, but a strong team is more likely to be drawn with strong teams.
