Cup: Buffs FC welcome German side FC Hoppen to Abbey Park for Top 16 first leg. The visitors held a slight Q advantage on the pitch and lined up 4-4-2, a cup favourite and one which help them lify it last Season. The Buffs were sent out in 4-5-1 def c-a, a Buffs Mad favourite.
Twenty-one yo left winger Jim Baxter, a product of the Buffs' Academy system, opened the scoring on 22 mins from a long range strike. The vistors levelled shortly after the HT break from a FK. Baxter added 2 more on 71 and 80 minutes to bag a tat-trick.
The Buffs should have added at least one more with the pressure they exerted from corners in the last 10 mins but the visiting GK earned his 8 rating. Star Man was the visiting DC, rated 9, but Baxter was the one guzzling the Bubbly.

Cup: AAAAAGGHHH !@@#$!! Why does this always happen!! At home as well. Ugh, the away game is going to be a pain. Tried a V formation against a 4-4-1-1, I think I might try a 4-1-4-1 this time, might work a bit better.
