Stars show competitiveness of player on your level, not quality. Numbers show quality.

All seasons start the same day, a Sunday.
Saturday finish the league... a friday is the Champions League Final... and the Thursday the Cup Final.
For who buy scouts and is in high levels remember that the day 3 when the leagues are done, one can go to a better level league and have a new scout list of 7 stars. So higher levels wait till day 3 for scouts... I had 5-6-7 times a list of 7 stars...this season was the last.. next too can be :3

I think everyone here agrees that they should have at least 1 day break from matches at the very least. I am indifferent to when the league starts, i just dont want the cup to start as soon as the day beginsQuote:

@Laku, it doesn't make sense what you are saying.Example: my 2 redstar attacker has 125 skill points(skill points always remains, even if you lose a star), same as when I finished previous season.So, in a new league, my same attacker will have 125sp and 2 red stars, and someone else attacker(from same league and same level) will have 125sp but only 1 red star...no logic.
Otelul you are promoted most likely in a mixed League (of the same level you promoted from)- this happens when there aren't enough Teams on a level to draw from, also from the Q you mention you are likely near the top of your server.
