I know this sound like a stupid one, but here I go: I won CL but didn't finish in 1st four position to qualify for CL this season, even UEFA allowed Liverpool to play in UCL, as UCL winners in 05-06 after Liverpool didn't finish a position that guarantee UCL calification. So... T11 should add an exception to the usual qualification rules.
What do you think?
That's how it works.. ya, i was tanking with a team, finished 8th and won the CL :D It would be unfair to let me play in the CL again as im on the same level and i could have won Champions league twice on same level..
It would be fine if they qualify Champions league winners that had a promotion
another of my teams got 5th place in the league, won the Champions league and yet he's not playing in CL this season.. :D

Yeah I think if the CL winner is a big name team with lots of cash, fans, history etc then their failure should be glossed over. But if they are a nobody team from a nobody country who just got lucky then let them rot for a bigger name with bigger TV audience. :D

Top 4 for CL spot - no ifs or buts is easier to manage numbers-wise, I think - last thing I want is more "I'm a Lvl X Manager, in a Level X+! CL with no access to Scouts blah ;) ).
You had to do it to win it so I'm not really in favour of Get Out of jail Cards. But I wouldn't really mind if they changed it either.
Tanking habbit doesn't leave any space for a fair implementation of this. Voted No.

I will go with NO !! cuz this will be unfair for alot of ppl, I can tank 10 seasons and keep winning CL cuz all newly promoted manager will never have a chance against a 3-4 seasons tanker...
Even if they want to introduce that, they would have to change CL system because someone would left without place in CL (eg. if CL winner doesn't finish in top 4 places). I don't think nordeus would make changes about competitions.
No, I was not agree when years ago, in 2002 when Real Zaragoza was 4th and Real Madrid 5th and they did what they did because Madrid won the CL.
Too... well as a manager I have 8 CL's of consecutive levels because this is the rule.. if I tank... and don't win the league... but I win the CL... and I play the CL of same level coz I tanked.... ¿?¿?¿?¿? thats like with the relegation nope????

In the case of who's 5th to 7th ..is not fair... you will see clearly that if you are 4th after a hard work and the game put you out of the CL because another won... ...and if we have to have playing CL the 1st 2nd 3rd 4th and the 5th 6th 7th because they too won the CL... is too complicated so ... for me... no.
(Too I need a rest sometimes ...¬¬'' thats 1/2 of why I tank LOL)
edited: in the case of Liverpool they started not like 4th, (in play off, before groups stage) they started since round 1 or 2... ... so at the end the advantadge for the winners years ago was not a clear rule...)
@Khris there is a lot of differences between real life football and top eleven game, so we can't apply too much from it.
Tanking is problem itself and it should be solved in other way, CL place would help them a lot.
Tanking is also direct consequence of league system on top eleven where you need to reach end of server for "last league" and that is another problem... This system is not perfect for playing, it is financially very good for them. We will have problems with tankers until nordeus decide to change something.
