Free agents are impossible to get on my server

Unless they are 74 years old and unsignable....

I just used all my tokens trying to get a young FA to flip....

Everytime I try there is always at least one other person bidding with more tokens
then I have.... I checked before entering this battle... his team is a bit weaker than
mine.... smaller stadium... same available budget... so it's not like I was against
a token buyer....

But I just spent my last 7 tokens for nothing.... :/

Guess I just need to forget about flipping FAs... ain't gonna happen.... :sigh:

How crazy to spend 7 tokens for a free agent. If I do 2 are max, else go to hell with him.

yeap now i don't really care about free agents.. it's only profitable if you can sign him with only 1 token. your probability will be higher if you only sign 30 or 31 free agent players. for 18-24 years old? just forget it.. (but the situation is maybe different at higher level i imagine)

7 tokens for free agent? I wouldn't even spend that much on one player (unless he's a scout, young, 3 positions and is close to the next star)

My server is very competitive as well but you need to know when to look. I have got players at a bargain for 1-2 tokens and nearly all my 5* players are bargain buys, only once last season did I end up going more than 10 tokens. I tend not to get into bidding wars because it really isn't worth it

trust me i spend a lot of time serching for players and i have tried almost every hour. i insist that the problem is my server. i am in a new server and there are no higher level teams than mine (level 6). thats the problem. there are no 5star players at all. my wifes server is full of them. for 1-2 tokens i can buy plenty of 18 y.o 5stars even the first 1-2 days of the season.

I wouldn't waste time with free agents either, usually in their 30's and are 3* players, With 7 tokens on my server, you could probably get 3-4 players that are mid tiered 5* players if your wise on when to know when to bid for players.

Same problems as I have, no 5* 4* are all 40 quality with bus passes, but the bus only arrives twice a season and the 3*39 are 1.5 x the price of scouts or the same as scouts needing a few SP from 7* at 22yo.
Negotiations have also died a death on my server, very few bids on a daily basis are to be seen.
My players have had three offers this season, this time last season was probably getting three to five a day.

^^^ This..... there are RARELY 4* star players available.... and never 5* players.... my server is all Lvl1 and 2....

So pickins are slim.... I was just thinking.... 25T for a 1.6M bank loan.... or 6 or so tokens for a 500K flip.... seems like the math is good...
until you get someone willing to bid 1000T to get the same player.... and it's always someone who shows up at the last second....

Even right after maintenance isn't a great time.... cuz there are still so few good players.... and the auctions always end 2 hours after maintenance ends....so plenty of players are back online....

The only players who go for 1 or 2 tokens are expensive players.... no one either has or is willing to spend game dollars... which seems silly to me....

Thinking best bet is to save tokens and get a young scout later in the season....

you and i have easy cup draws with no higher level teams and we have many chances to lift the trophy. but unfortunatelly since there are no higher level teams there is no efficient supply of 5 stars at the transfer market. on the contrary as i can see dvr8 has no recent cup success, so i am guessing he's facing higher level teams. since there are such teams at his server there are plenty of 5 stars. simple logic.

You do realize level up and 25 tokens can get you more money right? tokens don't lose value, infact they get more valuable. Money means nothing...

you better off using 6 tokens for 4 players worth 150-200k. Most likely 1 token will get them and profit same as 500k player.

people who is going for FA in my server a rich token buyer but with out in game money....so they will spend all their tokens to get that player and sell it again...instead of using 25 tokens just to get 800k useless money..

omg now 25t is for 1.6M....last time i bought 25t is for 800k...f**k you nordeus...

no it's definitely not useless. if you can't sign free agents with 1-2 tokens, then bank investment is the best deal for you to get money. moreover if you have a lot of tokens you should make investment rather than buying free agents

bank investment get higher if you promote to the next level. that's why you don't want to exchange your tokens at the end of the season..

But why spend tokens on money? At your level you should earn easily 4 million in competition prize money by now. Better off hang on to your tokens, grind it out, half season is gone, by next season you can buy scouts with money and tokens saved up.

newbie broo...when i was level 1..i didnt know if the differences between level 1 and level 2 players are high...so now i always re selling 20 of my players and bought a new one every season...only keep 2 because of power training....if you dont have money but u see a good nice player,you will be tempted to buy it...

oh...also if you do decide to flip FA, after you get them train the hell out of them first, train them until they injured, assign the skill points, they worth more...make up for the contract fee you sign.

one simple example would be if you encounter a very very good player on auction list or scout list but you don't have enough money and you don't want to sell your players in your squad or there is not enough time for it (let's say the deadline is only 30 minutes left. how can you sell a player in 30 minutes?). so you need fast money to reach the deadline or to get the scout player before the list is updated. the only way is to do investment

yep im doing that...just now i lost 6 tokens in token war ( i decided not to continue) but when i went to the transfer page, i got a 860k FA for only 1 token ( i bid early and i leave it)... i am surprised only 1 token...its very rare in my server..lol.. so yeah 7 tokens for 860k money is good enough...

Don't sell 20 players, thats nuts!!! I'm like you too, always upgrading but I stopped now. Partly because I can't really upgrade anymore plus to my surprise, my worse quality player after 10 games has 9 goals and 11 assists. Now I'm spending everything on him to keep him. From now on buy quality only! Don't buy 4 low star players. It may look nicer but they not going to effect your team much. If you are level 2, get the most expensive young player you can get with SA with skill 29. You can easily use them for 3,4 seasons. Another tip is you don't need high overall quality for all out attackers and all out defenders. Look for a player that another manager has been using alot and training the player him/herself. These players will most likely have mid 30 attacks and physical average, they will perform just as good as scouts. Spend the most money in midfield since they need all around abilities. I remembered back in level i got this dirt cheap 4 star goalie no SA but his defend average was 40 the rest was low. I finish season with 4 GA. Cheers.

The list updated for scouts but the scouts always there, they don't disappear. I've learned that I always see better players. Its not like real life where there's only 1 Messi. By the way, has anyone seen Messi? Missing 90 minutes. Last seen warm up before game in San Siro. Hahaha

i'm also in the same boat. i'm one level below top level in the server. auction is very competitive as sometimes managers from the top 3 levels are fighting for same player in auction. but it's easy to win in cup. i'm not a token player. i bought tokens only once during early levels. so it's not sustainable for me to stay in the same level. i'm playing not to get promoted this season and the next. i have already bought some young players, and reduced my average age to 21.8. so hopefully, after i'm 3 levels below top level, i won't have to use a lot of tokens to buy players in auction. i will sacrifice cup as i have already won 5 times. i think 3 levels below is good enough to win 3rd place in cup.
