Squad fillment

I sacked two of my reserve players and I'm not due any youth players for 5 days but I somehow have 2 reserves again. Anyone know where the two players came from?

How many did you have before you sacked 2? Your squad can hold 4 on the main screen....

Wasn't there a bug that Pricop came across 2 or 3 seasons ago where the game kept on generating lots of rubbish 3* 32-34 year old players into the squad to fill gaps in and they ended up with something like 40 players or something on their team?
