How comes the Cup's draw after 1st round ?

I 've past (I hope so because I won 1-0 in and lost 3-2 out ) the third round of the Cup.
How comes the next opponent after the 1st round of the Cup ?
I understand how come the pairs in Champions League. It's kind of the original CH.L. but in Cup is it random (new draw in every round) or has to do with the rows of the matches ?
