When a player contract expires you have 7 days in new season to re-sign him... If you re-sign player first day of new season, he gets 2-years contract only... So, if you want player to sign 3-years contract, you have to wait another day... Those players with contracts expired can not play in first day Cup matches... So, if you want those players to play in the first seasonal game, you are forced to give 2-years contract to some of them (if you have short squad, then probably to all of them). That's kinda stupid, don't you agree Nordeus?

also when you renew these contracts player`s get pay rise ( fair enough ) but why also increase wages when you add any skill point`s they might have ( unfair ) two lot`s of pay rises is not right or fair

just added 14 skill point`s on and player`s wages goes from 16.7 million to 18.2 million ??? seriously fix this crap or i will never be able to stay in black, as i said in above post i get they pay increase for re-newel of contract but NOT adding skill point`s on

another player add 15 skill point`s on and wages goes from 14.6 million too 17.7 million, i`m begging you sort this rubbish out or we WON`T BE ABLE AFFORD PLAYER BECAUSE OF WAGE DEMAND, Unless you XXXX the prize money

I never even know that you can extend contract at 2nd day to make it 3 year, always assumed that there is no difference for renewing contract on the last day or on the next season.

In reality a new contract won't overwrite an ongoing contract but it was impremented this way for simplicity in the code I think...
As such I don't think this would ever be fixed...

I was freaking out when I read what spornybol said and I went to try and it happened to me too... thank goodness that fixes it because what an impossible budget that would cause.
