Win bonus questions

Ok, few months past from the last conversation/post about this subject. Time for a little chat again.
Is win bonus useful and how much affects the performance or the result of a match ?
Some previous posts I read, didn’t enlightened me much. The conclusion I had was “better be rich and healthy than poor and ill” . :confused:
Well, not that I expect more from this post but I have some questions .

If win bonus improve the performance of the team why we can change it till the last second before the start of a match while other factors like players condition, formation/order, skill points, we can’t 3 min. before the beginning ?

Win bonus can affect the morale/motivation/performance of a player (but) in the next match of the team ?

The bonus of previous season doesn’t automatically change. Has the same prices unless we want to change the level. If its affect, what number the program considers ? It’s the number or it’s the level of the bonus (max, mid.up, mid. low, low ).

Maybe if we don’t change it to the lv we are, it’s invalid but then why it’s giving to the players after a match.

How about if we put the max. lv bonus in our team, for the Cup, from the beginning of the game (lv1) and just leave it there for every match ? Would it be keep counting as max. bonus ?

Whenever I had win bonus set on max, I lost the game... nuff said...

I use 1/4 @ league; cl and cup; but I love to raise it when I'm facing with good opponent; I think it affects good for my team results but I did noticed when I lower it my team's performance getting decreased.

maybe because you set this for really hard games to win ...

I am not sure if bonus really helps. But I think so. Towards the end of the season I usually gradually set it to maximum unless I was knocked out for both CL & Cup, and nothing to challenge in league. Actually this almost never happened because at least I could fight for higher league position. Well, you may think twice for applying high bonus for league as the league prize money is not high enough to cover the bonus I spent. You may try to alter bonus match by match. But my team often performed poorly when I reduce the bonus. So usually I just increase it.

I would like more your opinions about those questions :
- If win bonus counts, why it's not "locked" like other factors (condition, formation, sp) 3' min before the match start ?
- Does win bonus affect the morale/motivation/performance of a player (but) in the next match of the team ?
- If we have the amount of the win bonus stuck from previous season (any lv, any competition) how is it works ?

as Steppenwolf said don`t matter who i play i do badly, i do a LOT BETTER without it

I'm level 23 at the moment, having been promoted every season and won the league 17 or 18 times now.

I've never used a win bonus at all. I've also had moderate success in the cups too.

I'm not convinced how much influence it has on the results - its hard to say as you don't know if your opponent is using bonus either, but to date I cant say I've felt disadvantaged by not having it on. That said, it could be worse if you take it away after using it, instead of never using it to start with.

I have a question.

How do you expect anyone to be able to say with a reasonable accuracy if win bonus does anything or not? How would they tell?

If I have it on and win - was it the bonus, was it home advantage, was it my heavily skewed striker, was it the red (/blue) arrow, was it my lucky red socks.

As I've said before I take any legit opportunity of gaining an advantage. Therefore I will use win bonus until losing that cash becomes a disadvantage.

This is a game and game mechanics do things, but usually they are one insignificant part of a significant whole. Lets call it aggregation of small gains. ;) Or....smoke n mirrors. >.<

If you do not have win bonus one then

1. If your opponent has it set, then you will likely lose against a similar strength opponent
2. If your opponent does not have any, then you will likely lose against a similar strength opponent

If you ask me, the only time win bonus is useful is when both have it turned on.

Win bonuses hav effect on player morale.... if u do not give win bonuses u will find the morale getting down rapidly....

Not true also. I've played with 0 bonus and have not used a morale pack once on my starting XI player except for dead subs.

I hav felt it.... even my frnds hav noticed it.... bonuses hav an impact on morale....

Well, frm experience I don't agree with you tho. When you're on a losing streak, playing players consistently out of position or your player constantly get a 5 & 6 rating, their morale will drop. I've never experience a morale drop when I have 0 win bonus for all my 5 teams...

Hey buff , I don't.

As I’m saying, I don’t expect to find a convincing answer because I couldn't find a way that we can measure if the win bonus affects and how much. I have another team few lvs bellow but I can’t make the experiment because (even with the same players/formations/ conditions …), I must test the two teams with or without the bonus, at least 2-3 matches for every case , considering the random effect of the program. :confused:

I think the answers are based more in psychological factor.
That’s why I ‘m staying focus in these three questions hopping that someone has something more concrete.

I spent more on paying bonus than paying player wages. Something like 500m last season, because I had trouble getting rid of my max cash.
In fact I lose money if my team wins an away game:p

It is odd that the maximum bonus is capped at 15m...

After many thoughts I took the big decision. I 'm gonna keep the levels of win bonus I have this season also to the future seasons.
Meaning, i have in league, the first lv bonus, the lower from previous season, 75K to the next seasons.
In Champions League, the 2nd level (lower) from previous season, 125K
and in the Cup, the higher win bonus from this season, 500 K.
The future will show ...

This is very serious decision so with that I 'm celebrating my #500 post :D

It's up to you, i guess it changes smth with players morale ;D not sure tho.. but since i've got max bonus my players don't lose so much morale even if they get 6 or 7 rating..
I've got alot of money on topeleven so i don't have problems giving max bonus to players with main team.
i keep low bonus on alt teams tho ;D As they sometimes strugle with low finances..

It does.

Try changing the win bonus after formation is locked. When you win, you will be charged the original amount.

wow hard question and who knows if you would win or not with bonus on or not ???

maybe nordeus can tell us ??? ( damn really ) I always play at bonus on max

With every team ? I mean, also with the weak teams of your league or your CH.L. rounds ?
It's a lot of money for entire season, even for my lv6. So, I can imagine about higher lvs where the money is problem .
