Just curious, but when I release an 18 yr old because I refuse to pay 24 tokens to buy him, where does he go?
I would have thought it would be the transer market as a free agent. If that is the case, then why do I not get any free agents on my transfer market as they must be released by other clubs on my server on a daily basis.
Not complaining (well, not that much anyway), just curious.
I`v asked same question release a 4 star youth and they go too level above as 3 star free but i`v not seen any for a year, now you can`t tell me all these 4 star from level below get`s signed ?????
When you released him he will transfer to free agent at market
you will not get any money of course because you have just released him
he will not show on your market because they going to other servers ;)

They get deleted just like the scouts you never buy.
Free Agents are players released or sacked from Teams and wind up on the Transfer Market for the level who sees them as 3 star, (unless that's your level, then maybe they do disappear or get put on a different list. I've never seen any of the 3*'s I've released.)Quote:

What I don't understand is why I do not see these free agents in my transfer list and also why T11 do not take advantage of the released players. I am sure that these players would create a few bidding wars and therefore extra revenue for T11 via token buyers. I have released players who I know would be saleable but not worth the 24 tokens T11 are asking.
These players which came out of your schools YOU BUILT, and released to the Free Market. You should be able to receive TOKENS in some percentage since YOU brought him up in your school. No Brainer.
They disappear.
Here is how you can tell. Go to your mail and click on the message you received announcing his arrival. If the player is on your team (but unsigned), he will pop up with the option for you to buy him. Now release the player instead. Click on the mail. You will receive a message stating that the player doesn't exist. Click on it every hour, same message. He does not go to the auction list as a free agent.
Thanks tarcanes92, that confirms it. But why? Are T11 missing something here in that the auction for these players would use a huge amount of tokens, or is it that it would make selling experienced players impossible and therefore destroy the transfer market. This I suspect would put many players off because they cannot sell players to raise money. I suspect the latter and T11 are protecting the status quo.
I believe that at least 80-90 % of the managers keep the worst academy players to sell them and release the good, expensive (tokens) ones.
So
- the free youth disappear, nordeus doesn't get any T, the manager doesn't win anything
loose - lose situation
- if the good youngsters went in the market, nordeus would won many tokens as you mention but the managers couldn't sell their players
so win-loose situation
- if the good academy players had lower cost, say 8-9-10 T instead of 18-21-24, the managers would keep them so
win-win situation
