I wonder how on earth you got to a CL final with a handful of 6* players in the first place. I'm only at lvl 5 and I have a team that is mostly 7* and it's all I can do to win CL. I lost the final at lvl 2 and 3 before winning at 4.
All with 7* players. Not just that but ones who have good form all season. Nothing worse than 7 ratings except a very rare 6 here and there. My attacking players avg between 7.5 and 8.25 ratings over full seasons.
Like another poster said. Stars are far from everything. It's about form. A higher rated player is more likely to have better form than a lower rated one but it depends on if the player is a success or bust. Every player you buy can go either way. No matter how good they look on paper they can be crap in games.
I hope when I get to lvl 8 that having a few 6* players will make you one of the best teams lol. I will do well with that draw.
