No wonder, you aren't only one who has such problem. Main reason is because there isn't enough active managers who would buy them. On high levels you can buy anyday for 1T/player. Easier to buy and harder to sell. Also increase of wages after every skill point added doesn't help too.

Nah it's visual bug wage goes back if you reload page.

The higher the level, the less managers. I generally try to get my selling done in the first few days of the season. Train the heck out of the player and get him near his next star helps, and I find it easier to sell 3 and 4* players since then level(s) below see them. Try to find when the busiest time is on your server and sell then. Often its is during the day but not always.

Consider signing freebie youth as benchers; their salary tends to be reasonable. The Token youth also have more reasonable salary than same Q guy on tranny list.
Try to hang on to older players that are still good performers, again with the idea of a lower salary/better value.

Budgeting doesn't get easier as you level up.

Expressed above is my own opinion. Your results may vary.

i must admit i love how the OP has really jazzed up his posts with large, bold letters

anyway, i had a couple of players i had to sell and it took me 3 days straight of constantly listing and re-listing them, over and over again and eventally they went.
