Selling players at end of season?

Hello,

I am currently level 2, and I want to know which players to sell at the end of the season.

I know how the transfer market works, but at what time should I sell to get the most bids? I am on GMT +1

At what age should I sell players?
Should I sell anyone going to 3 star rating?
Should I sell young talents that haven't played much?

I am looking to get up to a decent 5 star level as quickly as possible next season, but many of my best players are 26-29 year old, so I'm afraid that they won't make it to 5 star, although they are 29/30 rating now.

What do you guys think, especially high levels, how do you handle the end of the season?

I don't keep 3* players in my team.
4* if they are old, over 24-25 y.o. (so they don't gaining much) also should be sold because they cannot help much in the next season.
(but players over 27 y.o. 5*, can help much for a couple of seasons).
Better to sell them before semi & finals because some managers may need them for their games.
Better days for selling is Friday evening to Sunday evening.
Of course many things depending from the wealth of the team so everyone has a personal style.

Sell players which:
-have 31 or more years (if possible for 32+)
-are in bad form
-whose quallity or needed skill is low (for example low attack for ST/AM or low defensive skill for defenders)

i personally can't wait for new season.
my first season, not including the one i played on day 26 as that's just pointless.
i thing i've got a pretty solid team

Update:

I sold 8 players, now at 8 million dollars, but my mistake was I went out and spent all my tokens on Opening Day, and now I have a problem, with 0 tokens, only bought 1 player. I have a 15 player squad now.

Another update:

Ever since I have leveled up to level 3, I have noticed that bidding wars are much more difficult, I used to be able to win with 1-2 token, but now few days in a row I have spent 4-5 tokens, not winning while I desperately need more players, any tips?

any tips?

check the market if you can find some more "quite" hours
if you see a wealthy team (premium jersey, emblem, expensive team, trophies), don't bid at all.
if you want some 5* players, prefer those 30-32 y.o. than those 25-26 y.o - anyway both, you gonna keep them only 2 years
make some experiments, try to bid first and wait, next round the same - show that you want that player (ok, only for few rounds)
there is no point to bid last sec if someone else has already bid
