Underperforming DMCs for 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond

Hi, i hv been observing that my DMC has always been underperforming whenever i use this formation. It is not the case of a bad player coz i use 2 different DMC to test. And their ratings are always the worst at 5 or 6, compared to the rest of positions. I have used no arrow, red arrow or blue arrow but to no avail.

Can any experts help me? Thx heaps!

I have noticed the same, he get a rating of 5 but he can also play DC maybe I shd play him there or sell him?

No because it only goes up to '9'

My one was mainly getting 5 but like I say I have now sold him and in the process of buying a replacement that costs more money hoping he will preform better.

Well im not the hire n sack kind of manager. So what i did is to get him to pull up his socks (no pun intended), assign free kick roles and make him wash the team's kit. The last 2 friendly matches i played today yielded a rating of 7. Let's see how he fare for tonight's league game.
