Hi guys,
I have just received 2 players from the acadamy. I'm only on level 4.
The first is only 2 star (level 23) but the second is 4 star (level 30), but cost 15 tokens to "buy". Is he worth it, both if i choose to play with him or if i choose to sell him later on?
15 tokens is quite a lot for me, so i don't know if its worth it. Do acadamy players train faster than "normal" players?
Yes they do train faster, but keep in mind, that they are also less experienced. Personally I try to keep 2 or 3 in my selection, and sell them after a couple of seasons. Their worth increases also as they improve. Ive had quite a few youth players by now, and some really excelled, ended up earning their place in starting line up, playing in the league and cup aswell. Eventually selling them to make space for new youth...and sell them at a good age in comparison to Nordgens. I think I even have a couple of regular buying managers at this moment.
Anyways, I'd say its worth it if you can miss the tokens and are looking to evolve the player and cashin money later. In comparision to buying though you wont end up in a bidding war and potentially lose all the tokens put in.
I spend ~20T per season on transfers so I don't sign those stronger players. I sign only weaker for 0T and then sell him to earn cash
How do you sign players for 0 Tokens hun you have a way to do that ???Quote:

It's worthy to buy sometime an academy player but must have greens.
* 0T academy players are usually medium to slow trainers so it's not worthy to train them.

NEVER buy the academy player for tokens, it's a complete rip off.
ALWAYS buy the 0 token player, I immediately sell him.
I sign Non token youth and train even if takes a season + to get 1 skill away from next star, then i wait for neg bids and the best i`v had is 20 tokens ( max to receive ) for a GK ?? INSTANT HELL YES but with this auto assign Nordeus have screwed up with not only player`s earning tokens via Neg list but also EARNING TOKENS THEMSELF`S

always sign the free player, they generally perform well but slow train. you can play or sell them.
the player that costs 12-24 tokens again perform well and normally fast trainers.... but should you buy them? depends on your transfer market, can you buy a better 18/19 yr old player for less tokens? if so dont buy them
In levels where money is a big issue, the token youth worth a shot.
He cost no money, in fact you can usually get more money from those token for signing him and sell him instead of getting bank investment. But usually it is better to let him play in your team even if the rest of your team is 5* or above. Form is usually stable it is better let him stay in most cases. He will gain a lot of market value even if you don't powertrain him, so if you have space you'd better off keeping him and sell him at age 20~26.
He is also a fast trainer that involve no risk to get other than scouts. In bid war you can lose a lot of tokens for nothing, and players on the nego list are rarely fast trainers.
