Hi All

Nearing the end of season, what Ages do you start to Offload Players?

Have some older type Players and still low level, so just working out how to manage.

For me 31 years are limit because at 32 some players retire. His value would be lost if I let him retire, but selling him before 32 allows me to save some cash.

Plan to sell any poor performers on Day 1 next season. Age I don't worry about so much as form and then Quality.. anyone over 28 or so is hard to sell (for me) so if an old guy still gets 7-9-8-7-7 type form I tend to keep them for bench & vs. weaker teams.

thanks @Top11 I think I have 5 Players to clear out before the end of the season.
Thinking 2 can replace with Academy Players, 2 Via Transfer purchase and 1 via Scout maybe.

Aging players are expansive to use but they are better players in many ways.
If you don't have a lot of cash sitting around you should avoid them, as training younger players instead give you some profit.

I start loading off players when they pass 22 years and become slower trainers. By this time the auction players have made them absolite

As soon as they hit 27 I start to look some an 18 yo to replace him. why 27? because at that age he really doesnt get much in terms of skill points unless he is one of the fast trainers. If he is 27+ and will still make scout, I keep him until he cant make scout anymore. For me it is all about being able to have a chance to resell them. If you know you are going to sell at that age, best to save up skill points and add a special ability so they have a better chance at selling.

i generally sell my player`s at 25/26 yrs old and leave 1 skill away from next star so i can some some tokens back for what i paid for him and get replacement in BUT if this Auto assign of skill point`s comes in then it will be Impossible too sell and Nordeus will lose out on tokens with neg list, I also earn via neg list with selling player`s to compensate on paying wages as prize money is piss poor to wages i played league away game and 2 home friendlies and was still minus $5 million because of wages
