exactly. If you have supermen they are impossible to improve quick enough to keep up with people levels above. With an average team you *can* win League & Cup, but then CL is harder because you are likely to face at least one really strong team in group, and successively harder match-ups from there. I havent manage a Triple, I content myself with shooting for a League win and as far as I can in CL, because I have a 4 star overall but closer to 5 on best 14.Originally Posted by Ulric Hilroth Jude

I thought up a strategy last season. It's funny now. I kind of figured out that I'd end up with tough opponents if I have a top notch team to start out with. I thought I'd let the Cup and CL seed themselves out and let the League fill up while I still have my so-last-season team, and THEN I'll bulk my squad up! I forgot the plan. Bulked up in the last days of the season. Knocked out of the Cup in the first round by some team filled with Greek gods.
I still want to give my plan a good, honest go, though.
