Hi,
Can anyone answer the question, as to what determines the length of time that an auction goes for?
Is there are meaning behind it?
Just interested as to whether it is random, or useful data.

Welllllll... the one thing I have noticed is it will change depending on how many of that type of player are already for sale.
I tend to sell off my guys during busy time and buy during slow, so my opinion is based on that. But when I put a guy up during slow the auction time is longer, but he is still less likely to sell.
And gens typically have shorter auctions..
Thanks Cat, as always with your wise advice.
My initial theory was that it (the length of time) may have something to do with the players 'sale-ability'.
So going further, as you did, it could be a function of: the player quality; & the player quality relative to the TM at the time.
I have found the worse a player is, the longer the auction time.
Or it could all mean nothing.
Yes I think maybe Q is part of it, like the more attractive (higher Q) the player the less time?? That makes sense to me, from what I have noticed.
I have also noticed that age has something to do with it
Older guy= longer auction maybe?
selling a lot of players from my second team, those are the times while in the market are
14 ST
20 MC
and the time I started, before 1 hour, was 22 (mixed) DC
When I sold the last DC and I started the above -Anderson, it was 14 (mixed) DC, so it must be from the position players which are in TM at that time.
