Last game of the season and I need to win by 6 goals to win the league. I'll be playing against 12th at home and they have a goal difference of -25. Any advice for tactics or formations I could use to help me win by 6? I'm relatively new as well with this being my 2nd season.

Narrow Diamond and just hope. Not much else you can do - he might be in 12th but he's not been shipping goals.
You should ofc check back to see what teams have scored a few against him if any.
He's lost 5-0, 6-1 and 6-0 before, 2 being against 3 strikers and 1 against a 4-5-1 V. I tend to score a lot of goals at home so I don't know whether to go 2 strikers and stay a bit defensive, or just go for broke and play 3.

Also, does anyone know what'll happen if the game starts and his red carded player is still on the starting line up because I don't think he checks his team or anything.

He wins 6-0 almost every game (other than against teams with higher quality i.e me lol). I tried his formation in my final game and won 1-7 away and I normally struggle away.

I had all 3 ST and AMC going forward, DMC going back and everyone else neutral. I should point out that my opponents average quality was 12 and mine was 21. His team value was 4 Mil mine was 28 Mil. I should also say I've just finished league 1 :)Quote:

Ended up hopelessly putting everyone's arrows as attacking and the game finished 3-1 and it glitched out halfway through when i was trying to make changes so I had a DR playing MC for about half the game :( Won the cup so that's a bit of a consolation. Thanks for the tips anyway though :)

The cup was reasonably hard, considering on cup days you've also got the league to play too so you have to take into account players condition. Most of the teams in the knockout phase had teams of similar quality and the team in the final was better than mine, but I tried to keep my morale high and I think that's what helped the most
How'd your season go anyway?
There are many threads discussed why and how Cup is hard that you can easily find. I will say the probability of winning Cup (1/128) is far lower than CL (1/32). I also believe teams starting a season with lower quality players, say average middle 4* or lower will likely enjoy better draw result. If they will vastly improve (easier for them because just adding any 5* player can help), they will have good chance to win.Quote:

I don't think it is easy to locate Cup specialist in this forum because most users here are enthusiastic managers with good team all season.
I joined halfway through league 1 so I just had league matches. I did win the league but not through skill it was basically bought. I watched videos and got 400+ tokens, changed a load into money, spent about 20mil to 30mil on players and walked it. What I didn't know is I will now get harder cup matches :( oh well you learn as you go I guess :D

Yea it is, I wasn't thinking straight. I got all the tokens from downloading apps, entering competitions etc. I spent them all but supersonic adds was offering 600 tokens to sign up with a gambling site and deposit £10. I had £15 left over in an old poker account so I transfered that into my bank and used it to get the 600 tokens. I'm too cheap to use my own money to buy tokens lol
I've watched so many vids for boosters that I've got video watching on my mind :)
With so many tokens and cash, probably your life is easier. I only get 35 tokens per season until in this season I noticed that sometimes videos are available that I can get 1 or even 2 more daily tokens. Tokens are often valuable resource to me.Quote:
