    Market value

Last season I got a 18 years old fast trainer. He was worth 2.93 M. This year (obviously he's 19), improved quality but only 2.32 M ! Can you explain me that ?
Actually, all my players' value decreased dramatically.

All players are 1 year older on season day 1. So all their value will decrease.

If your player is fast trainer, his value will increase during new season and the value will soon exceed his value on last season day. These players' average value will increase in every season, until their training progress is slowed down on aging.

Market value is a function of current ratings, training speed, and age. Training speed decreases as age increase, thus value drops each season unless you train enough to keep up.
