two same quality young players from my own academy

    Hi folks,

This is my first time to see this, very interesting and I am so happy!

Today I got two young players from my academy, one is 4*, 3 points to 5*; the other one is a 2*, 3 points to 3*. The better one cost me 21 T, and the other one is free. I always sign my young players and so far I got great experiences to use them, I can share with you my experience later, but not in this thread.

What I want to say is that both of them are fast trainers. OK, not THAT fast: in the sense that when I play on my android, I use match to train them, the intensity is supposed to be highest, both of them get 50% increase in capability, and if I try other trainings, both of them share the same speed, I do not feel bad at all - instead I feel very happy.

Has anyone experienced this type thing before? As far as I know, it is always the case that one is good, the other one is bad, in terms of training speed, not only quality (in terms of *).

I'd have not suggested you to spend your 21 tokens for your academy player. You could get better player from either auction or negotiations even with special ability. Improve your token free player and sell it.

In my experience, both these players are relatively good in quality terms if they are close to 3* or 5* respectively. I also think the cost of 21T for the high quality one is also not high. There are more high quality academy player near the season end but their token price is usually 24T. 21T is a quite good offer for this academy player even if I don't choose to sign him unless my team is in financial crisis.

For the training results of them, I'm sorry first that I may not correctly interpret. If you trained them with "practice match" in high intensity and outcome is 50% skill progress, their training efficiency are not good even for a non-token academy player. For a real fast trainer, training outcome should be well above 100% skill progress.

I never found that two academy players appearing at the same time have similar training efficiency. Their training efficiency may varies but free-token one is still slower in training.

Edit: Actually I just signed about 3 or 4 academy players with tokens. So my experience may not be representative.

my self i sign non token youth and train to 1 skill away from next star ( depending on level ) then wait for token offer from neg list.

today i signed my non token youth and he was only a 1 star player the plus side he is already 1 skill from next star so i don`t have to train, now just waiting for neg bids

If these players are several 3 quality points (not sp) away from next star, the cost is normal.

That's what I tend to do. Sack the better player who costs Tokens (As you can get better off the market for cheaper) and sign the free player, then immediately I put him up for sale for the extra cash.

Its getting harder to sell them however as I think cash levels for some are a problem in the higher levels, so there isn't loads of teams who can splash out another 70M+ for a player, but I keep relisting until he is sold.

To get better player from auction is gambling... Yet, YA player can be gambling too...
