What is it with all these teams that have 'FC' in their names?

Honestly i thought that many people lack in fantasy or maybe are a little bit lazy... If they just want use "FC" because they like it it's ok, but i think that most of them don't know what FC stands for... They just don't change it. Anyway a part of FC there are many others in reality: AS, ASR, AC, SC....
