Yeeeee Hah! (Part II) :cool: The Champions League Final beckons after a tight 2nd Leg match. The 2-0 home win in the 1st Leg was just enough, but what really made it was the 1st minute away goal in the second leg...

CL: Buffs FC complete the formalities in the CL with a 4-0 win for 11-1 on aggregate.
The last remaining higher Q team took a tumble in the other SF. So now we face a 'Performance' team for the Silverware. *gulp*
Hopefully my alt team might scramble through too but they''l need to do it without me after losing 2 league games on the trot and throwing the league away. Lazy good-for-nothings don't deserve my support ;) They also were on the wrong side of the Mirrored Score effect in the Cup, winning 2-0 away and losing 2-0 at home, then 3-0 aet :(
Hopefully I don't get to see CD Kraff again next season's CL...what a perfect way to ruin things

4 points are required to secure league champion. The only other remaining competitor is the 2nd place team.
In the remaining matches, my team will face the 3rd, 14th and 2nd place teams. In case, results of coming 2 matches are not good and league champion will be determined after the last match with 2nd place team, it will be interesting.

Another loss to now 3rd place team greatly hurt our chance to win the league. Anyway, I love this exciting race for league champion. In my opinion, top 6 teams are awesome.

Harper (ST) opens the scoring, his 45th this season (20 assists); Morrison (MC) fires in the second to take his goal tally to 19 (22 assists); but the Buffs are hit before HT and go in 2-1. Baxter secured the points 13 mins from time.
Although MC Liam Henderson has failed to hit the heights this season it was hoped James Morrison could hit the 7.50 average target. However it looks impossible - 7.46 atm and he'd need 5 straight 8s.

Rhondda Rovers played the second leg of the Champions League at home to FC Leod. I was unable to watch the game due to work and got quite lucky by the looks of things. We were 2-0 down, which would have the score 3-3 on aggregate with me going through by away goals. Thankfully, we managed to pull a goal back and though we lost 2-1, we are through to the final after winning 4-3 on aggregate.

Meanwhile, the reserves played against Cawa in the League and in fairness to them, despite dominating possession that wasn't 80/20, they were stubborn bastards to score passed. Thankfully, we managed to get the win and get one step closer to a perfect League title.
