After the team at the top falter with a home draw, an opportune time for Palace Casuals to pull out their biggest league win of the season and move up to the same points but second on goal difference.
Left winger Hansen buried a free-kick for the only score of the first half, after the break right-winger Shaqiri swung over two corners for first ST Neagu and then MC Kamal to glance past the 'keeper. Ciclon de Tarija pulled one back through Drew in between the corners, and late on Hansen centred a free-kick wide on the left and a 'majestic leap' by Neagu completed his brace and the Casuals won 4-1.
Interesting stats...

League: 5:1 win against 9th, keeping us atop the table on goal differential.
Cup: With victory achieved by a wide margin during the 1st leg, this match afforded me the opportunity to rest key players sitting on a yellow card ahead of the cup final. This meant 7* MC Roiz, 7* MC/AMC/ST Sneijder and 6* DL/DC/DR Burke were all out today to not risk a 2nd yellow and missing the final. The manager showed up regardless and kept the yellow card boys nearby in case Firdeus Sendi was able to get back in the match. We struck first with a 41st minute goal with Blatter finding Artegea for the early advantage. The opposition pulled one back in the 44th minute to even things up into the half. I was very happy with the goings of the first half, as it enabled me to hold out the yellow card boys even longer. As it turned out I wouldn't need them as the men on the field dominated the 2nd half, winning by a 5:2 margin (10:2 aggregate).

Had a rough last 3 games in league, going 1-1-1, lost home and away to a midtable club for only 2 losses of season lol. Last draw was against the 8th place club and i'm pretty sure he maxed win bonus as my players' ratings were way off and i am trying to save money for next season.
With 4 games left, we play 3 bottom feeders and the current top club in the last match of the season at home. Planning on boosting my construction to give the fans a show as we win the league at home in the last game.

My gf's (my) lvl 2 club has reached the champion's league final where we face a full 5 star club. Going to play defensively and pray!
Sitting 6th in league but not eliminated from CL placing mathematically. Only have a 17 man squad so if i miss out on it I'm not too concerned as the club is quite token poor and I don't think I will be buying.
NEVER rush construction. don't do it!

Palace Casuals' interest in the Champions League has been snuffed out on the back of a 2nd leg draw against a very defensive opponent who wanted to hold on to his 3-2 1st leg advantage. With nothing to lose, Casuals threw the kitchen sink at the Diptesh's back 5 in a bid to get the one goal that would be needed to draw on aggregate and win on away goals, but the breakthrough only came in the 76th minute when ST Ramos arrived late in the area and headed a Shaqiri corner off the bar into the net. However, the answering roar from the capacity crowd was silenced a few minutes later when the visitors had the temerity to venture across the half-way line and score an equaliser...
"So now we concentrate on the league," said the exhausted Casuals Management. "We'll PM the Semi-Final games when the dust has settled and see what lessons we need to learn about dealing with an opponent who clearly doesn't want to make a game of it..."
talisman best of luck for the rest of the League with the Casuals.
Jedi Knights is sitting in a Dodgy 3rd in League with 3 Games left, but I play the League Leader in the last.
No CUP, No Champs - so all for League Glory now also :D
My Feeder Team knocked out of Cup - but final in Semis of Champs in the morning and hanging into the League for a strong finish hopefully- Plan B!
Well, and with a 5-0 against Thomas, we need just 1 point to win the title(coz there's no goal average^^) , we face these days Barcelona, Ghosts, and Davide FC so :D

AMAZING SEASON!! (so far)
League - First with too many points ahead. :p
CL - All 3 matches against teams 1 level above me!!
Cup - Easy one. Final with team 3 levels below me. (Best player: 3 stars)
Despite being drawn to a CL with unbalanced level teams (most of the teams 39 level), I was able to reach the final.
Only one match left for a treble. Wish me luck. :p ;)

Well, I will change the name of Port Vale FC, The next season I will select a name between, FC Copenhague / F. C. København, Leeds United, Girona FC, or... lets say another team of our history, Bayer Leverkussen.
Port Vale will end the story with 2 League titles and a final of the Champions League.
Having lost the chance of the Champions League earlier, Palace Casuals turned their sights on the League. Away at FC Brandenburg, again the might of the Casuals attack fell on resilient defence, and only a long-range shot in the 77th minute by the home side found the net. So the League looks like slipping away as well, as apart from an early injury to MC Christie, ST Neagu and left winger Hansen both picked up bookings, which mean they miss the next match, which is against the league leaders...
*Head Scratching time* - the league leaders use the Narrow Diamond formation (as did today's league opponents). 4-5-1V has previously stood me in good stead but relied upon the wingers to provide the attack around the opponent's central block. I certainly have a replacement for Hansen but he's very much a second string player - what other formation could I use, or just go for broke and put the players in and let them get on with it?
Who would've thought that 1 week ago:-) 1 point vs the 9th tomorrow and I even win with games remaining,I told my friend the season doesn't finish after 3 weeks! And safe to Say Gomez wins again the goal rating, and maybe again all 3,my friends higher 8star challenged him again, but of course not a chance. Cl second leg still to come, have a 1:2 advantage from the away game,so I go defensive and the long ball forward to Gomez will hopefully come

no, don't waste your T that way. When I won my first treble (lv5) I bought for the team my first premium jersey. It's better investment and fun.Quote:

I was only going to spend 10T lol. But if Cat and Nik say not to...
Teda just clutched the league title.

Wooka FC still in 1st by 3 pts... playing the bottom half of league so should wrap that up without much problem, however in last match against the 11th place team they injured 2 of my best players (gotta be kidding me)... Am in cup finals, but somehow I am the away team with match scheduled at 2:30am (wont be watching that one) with my 2 best players injured....
Two suggestions:
1 farm some red packs get your superstars healed.
2 wake up around 220am to watch the final, really worthy!
I was kicked out of the semi final of cup but in the final for CL, I believe the final will also be at midnight my time, will plan to watch no matter what.
hey, what's going on ?
My oppo (and friend) tomorrow for the Cup is quite

Never HAD TREBLE!!! PLZZZ Nordeus give me a treble! I promise i will be good!
Cl final number 9 in a row reached 4:2 aggregate, played defensive, but of course the long ball forward to Gomez came after 42 min and the goal made me calm for the rest of the match. Once again Gomez hit the 50 goal mark a season, and still games left.Attachment 47954
Nice! I think I'm on 6 in a row now :D
I can only wish of getting 50 goals! I've only scored 108 goals this season though, so having a guy on 40 is good enough for me.
Had the home leg of the CL semifinal last night. After dominating the away leg but walking away with a 0-0 draw I stepped up the heat and smashed Madrid to pieces. Take that Ronaldo!

Bunce has found some form for the first time this season, and scored 4 goals in a 5-0 rout.
Confirmed myself as league champion this morning, winning 5-0 away, with Bunce again in the scoresheet with 3 goals and my other ST contributing with 2 assists and and a solo goal.
Attachment 47956
After having a shocking season for the first 20 days, Bunce really has found his mojo again, with 4 9's in his last 5 matches! And only 21, he should have another 3 or so seasons in him yet!
Attachment 47957
I finally won my first league! Well second in fact, but I won the first by chance while joining the game.

Sounds like a plan: good job I've been prevaricating on which of the two long-time strikers (now both 4*) to release - they made a great team way-back-when, it'll be good to give them a last hurrah before they both become TM fodder next season.
The unfortunate DC to be benched will be team captain Arma - anyone can take FKs but the Aerial Defender and Defensive Wall SAs of the other defenders will be needed. He's not got an FK SA but I need to give one of the midfielders an extra job to do, so MC Kamal will be designated FK taker for the day. 1st choice 'keeper Bieder has been rested for the past 4 days, the recent purchase replacement has been good, but I shall need his experience (and extra *) for this game - for good measure he is next in seniority for captain so he'll be Captain of the Day.
12:47 BST is kick-off time, I know I'll be out and about so it'll be login on the mobile and register I'm there (sometimes the extra 8% matters), and we'll see what happens...
Trolled hard. Lost 1-0 with 1 shot on target by opponent. Luckily, first place lost his last game as well.
Flawless victory in the cup final. The opponent goalie made 2 saves so he limited the disaster. My opponent never went past my defence and mispalced almost all passes. Changing the free kick taker in the middle of the game was the best decision ever,as my DC/DMC scored 2 goals from 2 attempts. All 3 goals were scored by 18 years fast trainers so they are my rising stars for the seasons to come :D
Attachment 47975Attachment 47976Attachment 47977Attachment 47978
And just another hopeless Cup Season as NONE of my opponents was in my league, but all of them +1 or +2 leagues higher. Even with Scout players this would be impossible to win.
no one ?
Attachment 47979
I did just that last season - won the Cup, all my opponents were +1 or +2 levels, except one - and that was the most difficult round to get through...
