Yeah. Had suspensions already and the game handed me even more lemons. Definitely not going to spend to salvage the season.
Time to tank!

Easy game today 10-0 win! and 2-0 in CUP!
Do you have to manage your team?, I am now in serious doubt.
I made a team just to watch the new animations. And now for this entire month I have logged in twice and managed lineup. (avarege skills, nothing spectacular)
And today this is what I find. Number two in league, throu in the CL and look at the competition:
Question remains, has I wasted a bunch of hours nursing my 'real' teams?(I am a bit disillusioned now)

Cat, they were slackers for first 20 mins. Sack 'em all
League: Buffs FC beat 7th 6-0. Naismith joined Harper up front and after scoring the second was infected by wastefulitis. Left Winger Baxter scored 3 and Harper 2.
Supporters of various levels are crawling out the woodwork for my opponents. >.< I guess things are getting tight.
AC Flaky's 442 took a 1-0 lead into HT. Shuffled to 22222 'Guard of Honour' and offered up a 3-1 loss. Could have been more if he subbed his injured AMC. Hope the watching manager enjoyed both the heart palpitations and the gift >.<
Up to 5th in the table after another win, now unbeaten in 6 in the league, our best run all season. Although two of those were draws.
Playing the other form team who have 5W in a row tomorrow.they are third, chance to close the gap on 4th. No surprise that our best form has coincided with all my injured players returning, and being able to rotate my under performing players again.
Gozalbo is also moving up in the scoring charts again, he's got 60 in 59 for the club.
So had the first QF leg (away) in the cup against the strong opposition I described earlier. It didn't go crap but it didn't go amazing either.
My players were very wasteful of numerous free kicks and corners, but the final score was 2-2. Fingers crossed for the home leg then.
The tactics I described about targeting his DML/DMR seemed to work since even though his team dominates in quality, I won the possession battle?
In the leg, I had a tight win over 7th(8th now). No surprises there. He got a goal in the 1st min, ended up being his only shot on goal. But my players ended up throwing away chances, going into the half 0-1 down. In the 2nd half we stepped it up and got the two goals needed, even though I feel a 4-0 type scoreline would of reflected the game better. 2nd place faced our tanking team in the league and so I suspected I was going to lose 1st place on GD. However he only won 2-0 and so now it's even tighter a the top.
Question for everyone: Has anyone ever had a playoff at a neutral venue to determine who wins the league or the 4th CL position a the end of the season? It must be a rare occurrence.
