It's a risk you took doing training. Five reds heals all anyway....

5 reds only heals 1 day for me, 12 is 3 and 14 is 4 for me... is something wrong?

I went out of CL & Cup early. Need to stronger subs and reserves compete in all competitions.
Never train the players of your basic squad unless you have at least 25 reds (or you have no targets at that period).
Or just Yolo :p
I was going for the triple this season, and had a lot of ground to make up so I decided to Yolo. It worked initially, boosted up my guys a bit. But then the injuries struck and yea....Cup = Dead.
So maybe just Yolo for the first few games ;)

I try to trick the engine by overtraining some low Q player and then 3baring him with my first team so if anybody gets injured its him. I haven't ever seen 2 injuries on one training and it's been working so far.
in the past 5 seasons I have been keeping track of injuries...I have had at least one broken leg per season included in 5 accounts, so it is rare.
In 5 seasons so far and out of all 5 accounts:
- 338 Total injuries
- average of 77.6 injuries in all 5 accounts per season.
- average of 16 injuries per account per season
- average of 4.1 days per injury.
- approx 50% of injuries are from games, while the other is from training. That struck me as strange - with all the hard practice games that I do, I would at least expect 75%/25% in favor of training injuries.....
- Broken Leg at least once a season, not per account, but per 5 accounts.
Total Injuries (from 5 accounts):
Ankle Strain: 67
Hamstring Strain Grade 1: 47
ACL Tear: 32
Groin Strain: 32
Knee Cartilage Tear: 31

As you can see, I get a lot of Ankle Strain and Hamstring Strain Grade 1, but the one that hurts me the most is Hamstring Strain Grade 3. No other injury has cost me more red packs. Broken Leg and Broken Foot are the #3 and #2 respectively. All 3 of these injuries are automatic instant heal (15 reds). Some people chose to sell and waste $ and tokens instead of red packs. dunno why

Look at Broken Leg: 6 injuries for 94 days. Almost 16 days per injury.
I get an average of 16 injuries per season per account. With an average days of 4.1 per injury. 66 injury days total per account. Say I heal 50% of them per account, so 8 injuries and 33 days, and 12 red packs per injury = 96 packs. I get ~56 red packs from gifts and research center per season. That leaves me ~40 short. THAT IS WHY I TANK! Every season will most likely cost you red packs from many injuries. If you tank, you can laugh away the injuries every 2nd season while you stockpile reds, greens and blues.
2 seasons ago, one of my accounts had just over 500 reds. It currently sits at 387 because this account has been hit the hardest this season. Not to mention that I bought a bunch of players this tanking season and heal them asap so they dont miss any training. I usually give them one season to make enough points to have a special ability by the age of 19.
All that to say: just use the 5 red packs to heal anything over 5 days. Yes, broken legs are devastating IF YOU DONT HAVE 15 RED PACKS, but otherwise, they are just an annoyance.
