if u need some subs and stuff u can buy now for less money and stuff
shhhhh or players will stop buying my free transfers i got :)
No reason I can think of, even if you need subs ..you can get better ones on sunday.
but is it a given that you will end up having an option of bu-ying better players next season? For example, I am already on a server as lvl2 where ppl with level 4-5 are playing. Loads of players with stars on the transfer market all season.
next season, im guessing that i will stay on the server as a lvl3 and the players on the TL should come from the same teams as this season, meaning that the quality should be roughly the same too?
if there's no reasons why its up ? just tell the game to remove it l0l
of course not on lvl 2 u can see up 2 30 quality in lvl3 u able 2 see up to 35. got it !!
I actually think its a good time to buy because there is so much competition for players at the start of a season you will end up spending more tokens for them.
and quality isnt everything, i lol when ppl start crying on forum: "i've more quality and i'm losing games" l0l
I think its a good time to buy if your looking for back-ups to your squad for next season and also that extra bit of strength for the push for champions league qualification/promotion for next season or to win this seasons trophies. Also its a very good time to buy a player for anyone that is staying at the same level for next season.
imo the best reason to buy players at this moment is if ur in a crapy server as i am.
If u wait on sunday the token war is 100% sure.So u can find some good players now that u can keep them until the end of the season and sell in the middle the oldest ones.I did that this season when i realised that my server is so crapy that i had to spend 20-30 token to buy a nice player(and if i find it).It worked ok ,i already took my league,it cost me my CL although(while i was changing players my team was confused) and i hope i get the cup(i am in the final)
that's right....funny how I was so proud of injuries....got injured like crazy with all accounts....and i'm in 3 finals...fml...
I know i did.
Just bought a DL and a DC for a total of 5 tokens. 5 star each. 24 and 20 of age.
Could not do this earlier in the season.
its a great time to acquire the pre-scout player he's going still at 5 stars next season
I bought couple of players last few days, I got some players at their 3 rd year contract its time to sell them also it got much least competition in Auction war. New player might lost some value next season and 2 years left in their contract but u do safe tokens to buy now
if you get a 4/9 player at the end of the season then he might be a 5* player again in the first week of the following season. and you saved tokens in the process. And if you upgraded from a 1/6 to 4/9 player in the meantime, all the better, especially when it comes to bench.
Oh yeah, also I'm competing for league, champions, and cup and my AML gets 11 game injury. Sorry he is replaceable immediately, even if he is higher scorer and one of my favorites.
there's always some reasons to buy players at any time :)
No, there's also something called tactics. I have beaten teams much better than me, using tactics to counter the opponent .. Oh but apparently "only quality matters". What do you have to say about that?
Don't always expect to win if you're the better team.. That doesn't usually end well when it happens.
You cant say so, Generally the higher the quality, the better the team is.... Its like Man city and QPR.... Ofcoz tactic play important role in football.
it is reasonable that QPR beat Man city (1-0/2-0), as it is football nature, thing like that can happen
But thing like Man City lost 5-0 to QPR, it becomes ridiculous......
Yes i should add about my previous comment that on my server 99% of the players available on auction are only 3* and very occasionally they have 4* , even more rarely 5* so competition is incredibly fierce for the quality players already. At the start of a season...forget about it.
I tend to try and save up for players from my Scout list and avoid auctions as i would waste more tokens bidding and losing out than i would buying Scouts.
I do sometimes attempt to negotiate for players but that system seems really stupid for both the buyer and the seller. Most of the time i am offering at most around 10 - 15 tokens to the seller which is never enough. If i offer anymore then it makes no sense for me. Only Nordeus seem to win out of that situation, or i suppose friends can transfer to each other. I have only successfully got one player that way.
I have got a few decent enough players on the auctions but its purely down to being in the right place at the right time and getting lucky. The bidding technique of always going first then switching it up and making a last minute bid helps too.
Also how does the auction list even function? Anytime i log in all the auctions have are at least 2-5 hours to go so i am unable to get anything done when i have the time to be on. I can't always log in later just to bid on a player for this game so that also adds to the frustration of auctions.
Why can't it be real time? i.e when a player gets added by a seller it appears immediately on my auction list? I can't even work out how its done currently but it appears to be more like I am seeing windows of opportunity that run out and are then replaced by a whole new auction list that updates once every 2-3 hours or something.
I always buy subs by end of season
and may be a waste of money, but big save in tokens which is money anyway
I just noticed that, as of just a few hours ago, everybody has pushed the prizes up on my server to the maximum where you can start the auction. A bit lame since I wanted to do some bargain bin-shopping. I have managed to get rid of a lot of deadwood though.
Looking to buy at least one scout player at the start of next season, preferably a goalie. Too bad the result I was hoping for fell through so I'm pretty much consigned to 2nd place, and hopefully a CL win.
Ive been buying players for the 1st time at the end of season, all 4 star for 1 token as they'll improve my subs and overall team for the start of next season. my 1st team is currently full of fast trainers so my subs were struggling to stay about 2 stars for next season so i think ive saved alot of tokens an can avoid bidding wars at the start of next season.
if you've a very limited token budget I think it's the best time of the season to buy players. I've a 22 yr old striker that is over 20 above his lowest stat so training him further will slow down alot. I've bought an 18 yr old today that will take a while to surpass him but will eventually.
I don't know why but all 3 acc of mine are suffering major injury attacks from stretching. Since 2 won the league already, 1 tied for 1st, 3 CL finals I rather buy players it's cheaper than fixing all injuries
Truly agree, new season purchase is for Token player, last season purchase suits most for normal player as we dont hv grand of token to compete with token player when new season begins! Just keep in mind that if you buy player at season end, try to buy player who almost get to next star! This is absolutely economically
If I buy a player who has 5 stars, the next season (a few days), that player will be a 4 star only. It might be better to buy it at the start of next season?
Sorry for my english)
18 yos 5 stars with playmaker SA MC. Next year will drop to 4 stars, but with 10 skill points, he will be back to 5 stars. It cost me 3 tokens. It is a steal to me.
Ah so the 5*(28) 20 year old RM i just spent 2 million on was probably a waste? Im level 2 just now so still getting to grips with the game. Does every player in your squad lose a star at the beginning of the new season? should i be trying to off load players? I sold all the players i had over the age of 25 as i thought it would just be the older ones id need to worry about!
Yes, every player in your squad lose a star at the beginning of the new season
