thru in cup 3-3 agg on away goals :D
Sons of pitches today suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Marik FC having lost 3-0. The club has dropped to 2nd place in the league but the manager Sac Magaalo has demanded from them an immediate reaction to come out victorious when they host Vanq FC tomorrow.
The club is proud to announce our progression to the 1/4 finals of the cup and Top 16 in CL.

One of the best seasons for now;)................

7-0 in league, good day but to many injuries this season, already around 10 in 14 days....
Through to the cup quarterfinals, with a 3:3 draw which extends my winless streak to 4 matches.
Edit: Snapped the 4 match winless streak with a 3:0 league win against 8th. Nice to get that sour taste out of our mouthes, now to prepare to tomorrow mornings champions league match.
This season is very weird for me. Don't watch most of my games (and don't train or giving sp) so I really don't know what's going on :p
In the league I 'm first. While I won many games vs better teams, today I watched (and got a draw) with the last of the league

In the Cup, playing in a 3lv above, it seems that luck is with my side.
Played 3 games vs an oppo from my league, in 3 days, watched only 1 game, won all the three

meanwhile, in the other pair, the team which is in the same lv like me (14) won a much more difficult team and now we're playing together :D, so maybe I could win a bronze plate out of nowhere

I have now implemented the "10,000 Tokens" Rule for my account.
Basically, I feel 10,000 Tokens is more than enough to have in my account and the need for Green packs (and by default - although not a major issue at the moment, Red packs) so I can power train is needed, so every time my account goes to 10,050 Tokens, I am exchanging those Tokens for packs.
At the moment my stats look like this -
http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/...d/11072915.png
Money not an issue, but sitting at 10.2B
Reds at 599. I would like more but the last time I tried to farm for reds or converted for reds I got an injury influx, so I'm reluctant to add to them more than what comes manually.
Blues at 2,025. Not bothered about them at all as I don't see them as important. Due to playing loads of friendlies I seem to collect more than I need to use.
Greens at 2,150 at the moment. I'm actively looking at increasing the Greens.
My star play Foster is still ticking on well.
http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/...ccloud/a12.png
I intend to power train him right up to 10 star again next season, but he is the only player I have my eye on at the moment for Green investment.
Having trained all my players other than Foster to scout level and made many triple role players I think investment next season and hopefully the one after that will be minimal.

And with a 5-0 (8-0 agg.) Valle de Escotia is in the next round of Cup
:o
That moment when your manager level is 23 and your cup adversary is level 26. Is it fair enough?

Yesterday I lost the only opportunity to be the first in my League, lost vs the first 0-2.
He used 5-3-2 and my 4-1-2-1-2ND didn't work, later I changed 3-1-3-1-2, but nothing changes.
Next time I'll try 3-5-2 attack by the flanks.
In CL I have a easy 8th final, expect to pass next round.
Since i play this game I have opponents 3 levels highers than me, in levels 4-6 is very complicated!
It's for you team's quality at the end o firts days of the season.
Game doesn't think this highers team can bid players much betters than you.
For me, is a great bug.
United rant
although its one of the best cup draws in a while, it still seems impossible to win. I need to make miracle results in the last three matches :o

@kynan
hey mate, all those MC-ML-MR performing good in all three positions
CL: Buffs get a good start in the CL Knockouts with a 2-0 away win South of the border.
Not quite the goals their play deserved but solid enough.
Triallist DC/DMC got a game earlier than expected with DMC Mulgrew getting shot from the stands on 8 mins - he rated a nice 8.

Seems like a few of the Buffs players coasted the match with just enough effort to get the job done.
So just realised ive only a three hour gap between CL and league games today. Pretty awful if you ask me, and I'm not even able to change it with tokens. Messed up, but with rotation we can win both, although a score draw away in CL would make me happy.

Maximum Sunday for the Palace teams...
First up was Palace Casuals, who returned to form with a 5-2 home win over visitors Cam Lam VIP FC. Having exchanged goals in an equally-matched first 20 minutes, Casuals went on to dominate the game. Late first half goals from striker Mourad (2, 1 pen) and right winger Shaqiri added to the early strike by midfielder Kamal. Hanson added the fifth in the second half with a direct free kick before the visitors got a late consolation goal. Despite their recent dodgy results, Palace Casuals still top the table by 2 points.
Palace Terriers next got onto the victory trail with an 3-1 away win at BursaSpor. Captain midfielder Flack showed the way with a well-taken hat-trick, although the home side's cause was not helped by the dismissal of the only central defender in their 3W defence just after the hour mark. The welcome boost to their goal difference lifts Terriers to 3rd in the table.
Alt team, after a restart of AC Flaky, the boys produce a win in their 1st league match. 3 new players came in and 2 were sacked so far.
Not a resounding success but at least we move up 1 spot to 11th, 5pts behind 4th n 5th. This team might need a lot of shuffling but not bad enough for Sherman AFC to Tank yet. ;)
Former Celtic Rangers, now AC Dun (although will probably rename to CR) have yet to play but as they are in 9th and promo is the only target I probably won't do any transfer activity unless I have to. ;) And we don't want to move to high in case Sherman Tank.
I'm aiming to have both teams in the same league for testing in at least 2 competitive matches
0-6 in CL with Valle de Escotia, I selected the GK to pick fouls and he scored.
Complicated match against a wake team that changed when Bassi went to the field in the 73' and scored 2 goals 83' 86' + GK in the 84' that give us this round :)
LOL
and 2-2 in a so complicated match of CL of +1 level.
Next match we play home.
United Update
Important league match today against number 2, and we pulled through.

1:0 vs 8th,played 75 min with 10,but winger Gascoigne nailed it.As I said long time leader Turkish friend will struggle as he plays the top 3 last days,he will have rubbish again 1.5 weeks but as he plays tough teams in 2 weeks he won't be surviving there.I start again first 5 matches vs both tanker n other guys ,if I survive a top 4 spot till next weekend then I should finish top 4,as my joker is the last week weaker opponents to play. I'm surprised about my performance, but its just half way and only promotion yet secured.champion'league later tonightAttachment 49580
Easy victory like I predicted in CL with the subs, 1-4.
Taking a nap until final quarters :)
Novak Djoković, new, old Wimbledon Champion!!!
Attachment 49593
P.S. No trolling from Federer this time...
1 token grandpa striker is really the man.came on after HT played left wing for Gascoigne, but he didn't care left wing o striker, gave the 2nd goal.:-) very reliable old man!Attachment 49594
Speaking of old players :)
Here is my "new" ST... i didn't regret the 11-12 token (had a little war for him)
He is a beast and an executioner in one person :D
Attachment 49595
Very nice! Yes,old fellows can really make the difference, especially if its later in season,no time for training o whatever,an old guy with great attributes is the best solution ,at least for a short term like a season:-) his attributes are high enough to keep him the 2 seasons till he retires in my squad, but of course maybe he's not performing then, but now he does, that's important:-)
Very good statistics in attack!!!
This season I bid 1 ST 49Q 29 years old (1 goal/match average!) and 1 AMC 49Q 30 years old (1 goal/2 match average!), I'm level 6 like you, very happy with these.
Gallina vieja no hace mal caldo (Spanish tipical sentece about this...) :)
\o/ *Buffs Spam* \o/
League: Buffs FC travel to second with a 1 point lead.
The opposition stroll out in 433, the Buffs march out in 4141.
The Buffs leave with a 4 point lead.
It looked as if the Buffs had went part-time again after 2 1st half goals but Harper popped up in the 80th to complete his hat-trick and the 3-0 win.
We've not scored a double corner yet this season (only seen a few) but thankfully we defended 1 today. Assists for CK takers are still down this Season. (Maybe I should stop just assuming CKs have been tweaked and change them:confused:)
Rocket Hotspur won 1-3 in the first leg away from home in the CL Top 16, without the benefit of their manager to guide them. Considering it was mostly reserves and subs this was a great result. Former starting striker Pasquel Le Guen provided an assist and two goals to earn him a 10 rating.
In the league, where we had dropped from first to third while others played their games before us, wholesale changes were made to the starting line up. With only 2 players from the CL game retaining their places.
We dominated from the off, but our shooting wasn't up to scratch, with only 1 on target from 9 in the first half, as we went 1-0 into the break. It remained at 1-0 despite the opposition losing a player to a red card, but with about 20 minutes left on the clock, we made a couple of quick changes and managed to score two late goals to seal a 3-0 win and move back to the top of the league by 2 points.
Ty!
behold my team :)
(some players got green fast train, never used tokens)

Sons of Pitches are back to the top of the table after beating the previous league leader Vitor FC by 3 goals to none. The players have listened to their manager and got the positive reaction required after losing in the last round.
The atmosphere at the stadium was ecstatic and the team has the belief of winning the league. Can they hold their nerves till the end?

Firecats news
They had an excellent sunday:o
Attachment 49597
The Italian keeper is holding his 8,2 rating average and 11 MVP, nice ! :)
Won 3:0 in league today against 6th, as my star ST Blatter picked up a hat trick. Formations were my 3n-1-4-2 against his 4-1-2-1-2 Narrow Diamond.
Champions: Match still to play (I'll edit this post once match is finished). Opponent has me very worried as I've had a lot of problems vs. his formation (4-3w-3) in the past and he does have a strong team. I'm trying out a wide diamond here today, may adjust if things aren't going well...
EDIT: Champions League update; things didn't start well, as we fell behind on a 7th minute goal, where the score would remain until the 44th minute, when AMC Sneijder blasted home a rocket to knot the score at 1, into the half. Ambrossi would start the 2nd half strong, going ahead 2:1 with a 61st minute goal. We immediately responded with the 62nd minute equalizer and would add a brace (Cusba and Blatter) in the next 10 minutes and would dodge repeated bullets in the final 10 minutes, holding on for a 4:2 victory.
Ratings were more in the back as my GK and 4 defenders combined for three "6's" and two "7's" but the midfield picked the up as we won a hard fought game against a quality Ambrossi side.
Opponent didn't watch the match, and used 4-3w-3 all match; whereas I used the 4-1-2-1-2 WD and sometimes moved my DMC/MC up into a 4-3w-1-2.
Mid Season Review:
Hoofers are sitting tenuously on top of the league. Chelsea FC has helped our cause greatly by beating the former league leader at home today. Squad is a little thinner after negotiation sales but with only the CL and league to worry about, shouldn't have an issue with depth.
Injury bug came and went with 3 players going down in 2 days. Pervan will return to training upon new matchday and will likely feature in the 2nd home leg of CL Bo16 tomorrow.
Here's the numbers.

I also had a weird skill spike for a late defender substitution in a friendly game. He came on in the 87th, the opponents scored a goal on his side. he must have learned his lesson well because look...
