Thursday 23rd July, Palace teams report...
In Casuals League, it was top of the table sort out day:
2nd vs 1st, 5th vs 3rd, 8th vs 4th, 6th v 14th, 7th vs 11th, 9th vs 10th, 12th vs 13th
Casuals visited second-placed San Siro and came away on the wrong side of a 0-4 score. The stats show that Casuals matched their hosts in almost all departments, but the slight advantage in strength on-field was the tipping point in the home side's favour. With an advantage now reduced to 1 point, Palace Casuals know that their league fate is in their own hands and the last two matches are now 'must wins'. Despite the defeat, results elsewhere have confirmed Palace Casuals a Champions League place for next season.

Terriers kept up their unbeaten run in their efforts to get into a Champions League slot in the League, winning at home 3-0 against Thuaan'd FC. Goal scorers were Atkins and Doda, with individual runs and 1-on-1 situations with the visitors' 'keeper in the first-half, and Moran, direct from a free-kick after the Thuaan'd right-winger was sent off for a professional foul in the second-half. A late injury to left-back Gorrono was a blow to the home side which took the gloss off a good win. Palace Terriers are now third in the table on goal difference, one of four teams on the same number of points, one point behind the league leaders.
