New to the game...need some help please.

Hi All,

I'm very new to the game and I'm trying to figure out the best ways to build my team. I'm currently in first place in my league, but it seams like i'm always spending tokens or health kits to keep my players boosted. So here are my questions...

1. How do i boost player morale without hiring a specialist each time?
2. Why is my entire teams condition always on the verge of being poor to very poor. if I have two games in one day should I not bother with any training?
3. Any suggestions on what I should build up first? I'm thinking my medical facilities are probably the most important, but i'm sure other things contribute to team morale.

There's so much to think about and figure out. This game is pretty overwhelming for newcomers. I'm sure its a lot of fun once you figure out most of the tricks.

Anyways, i would appreciate any help or suggestions you could throw my way. Thank!

Medical facility and gym. Those two will generate red and green packs respectively.

just keep building. do not over train, have your players rested at match time.

So I don't have another game until tomorrow morning. If I don't do anything until then I'm assuming my team will be rested up by then?

1. I just know to use the blue pack to boost the morale of players. If there is any other way e.g. good match result to improve morale, the result is insignificant.

2. Players need at least about half a day to recover condition after a match. If the same lineup is used to play all consecutive matches. There will be almost no spare condition to train the players. Condition will naturally recover 5% in 3 hours. You can also use your limited green packs to recover some conditions.

If players are rotated to play different matches, some players may have spare condition to train. You can study to calculate the amount of conditions can be used for training while players will be recover on time before next match.

3. On starting, I prefer to build facilities to generate green(rest) and red(healing) packs. Then pitch condition to reduce injury rate. Then stadium seats and club stores to generate income(importance increase on level up). Then training facilities for new academy players. Then packing ensure stadium seats will be filled. I don't upgrade scoreboard etc. unless I need to ensure all facilities upgraded to a certain level so that improvement on major facilities will not be restricted.

I don't think it is necessary to use token to accelerate building. For long term team survival, if finance is ok, never stop building.

What does MRL mean? Its listed in the squad for each player.

hmm. morale? where listed

If you click on squad and then scroll to the left it says MRL and underneath there is an arrow that's colored yellow/green/red. If it's morale I don't understand the significance of the arrow.

ahh. the color and position indicate how player morale is. I usually wait for down arrow / orange and use two, since two fix from zero.

Optimal ticket price is found by try & error. I will increase ticket price from time to time after number of fans, and reduce ticket price if home match is not full. Home court advantage reduce if stadium is not full.

For the lowest levels, I don't think win bonus is important. Actually I started using it after playing many seasons.

If you really want to use win bonus to improve winning percentage now, your priority should be put it on important matches and your preferred competitions. I suggest you checking competition prices and no. of participating teams of different competition (affect your chance to be champion) yourself.

FYI, in Cup you may play against higher or lower club level teams. This can affect your chance of winning champion.

In my opinion, you should never waste win bonus on friendly.

As a first season manager you may or may not have enough tokens/money to make a 22 person squad. so if you want to win cup and league game in same day, you'll have to use green packs. mrl or moral i alway try to keep in the highest range, on the FB app it's superb. I only do moral checks 5-10 minutes b4 a game, as moral naturally goes down sometimes at random times.

as you continue to train and develop your players will they eventually be able to use both feet or are you stuck with whatever that player had coming into the league?

Unfortunately if the player is right footed, he will stay that way, unless you come across a player who can play with either foot.
