On ask the devs, this question was asked:
@uurkorkmazzz some can easily proceed to final in the cup, whilesome can’t; just because they play against far too stronger teams, that’s unfair!
Upcoming changes will make Cups more fair.
Also I believe on Nordeus support they confirmed some changes to the Cup format, What do you think it will be for next season? Will this be the end of Level 2 vs Level 15?

Makes it fairer on the levels distribution and also at least you know you going to be faced with some competition in every round instead of dead-end pointless ties with 5+ levels greater between teams.
Adding a level cap would be fine. Altho i'd make lv1 something totally alienated from the rest, or at max cap it just wit level 2. Newbies should have a shoot to it too to better understand turnover issues and what mean building a good team. And they'd be crushed by any level 3.
At least with the level bands I was suggesting (doesn't have to be exact) the Cup will still feel like a Cup but at least it would make the Cup far more competitive. I was seeded No.2 in my Cup draw this season and my Semi-Final was against a team 15 quality lower than mine. Not very competitive for a Semi-Final.Quote:

Devs were not asked for questions. They showed up themselves for that so something is near.

Well I think that cup is good as it was until now. The meaning of cup is to fight with much stronger teams. You have League and CL to fight with teams your own lvl. The only thing that I would change is that in cup be teams for example from lvl 1 to 5, 6 to 10 etc.
Thats what I have been suggesting for the last few months, put all teams into 'bands' of levels and at least you get rid of pointless one sided games like L20 vs L2 for example and at least the Cup will still feel like a Cup.Quote:

I agree with July Fourth in making band levels for the cup. Although I'm level 4 and looks like on my game server the highest is currently level 6 - got beat by a level 6 team in cup final yesterday although our teams were fairly similar, his being only slightly stronger.
i liked the old format better. it gave me a chance to earn big money very quickly from the cups becoz the opponents were much better than me.
and then, i would lose in round 2 or 3 and i wouldn't have to worry about the fitness of my players since i didn't have 3 games/Day to worry about.
CL and league games are enough for me.

Let's face it, You wan't to play someone 10+ levels higher knowing you will lose before a ball is kicked or vice versa if you are 10+ levels higher, I've been bored with the early stages of the cup in the last 6 months or so because the games were too easy.Quote:

A L5 team can have the same quality of a team playing in L8 but the L8 team can easily improve there squad whilst a L5 cannot, but even under this new Cup format hopefully you still get to face higher level teams with a realistic chance of winning rather than the end of the road tie of playing someone approximately 10 higher levels. Has a L2 team won the cup before in a L15 Cup? mostly likely answer is No.Quote:
