I like the new stats, being decimal. I think you can see clearer how players performed. However with this being said I have a little question: before the update, were stats rounded up? As in, 8.5 would appear 9 but 8.4 equaled 8?

Yes, in stats they are rounded to the nearest whole number. But the average ratings are probably calculated from the exact rates, which could explain the decimals on Leagues best rating

Prior to last season they were not rounded up but the league averages were rounded to 2 dp for obvious reasons.

Since they started tweaking the calculated ratings in preparation for thses Live ratings the actual ratings with dp were being produced and used in the calculation for average league ratings but the dispay in matches and player screen were rounded. League averages are still being rounded for the same obvious reasons.
