If you have a player with (?) and sign him now, it's saying that it's 3 years contract.
If you sign him next season, it's 2 years contract. Actually is the same thing. When it saying 3 years contract, means this season too.
The first days of the season, a player without a contract is useless, Cannot play, train or get sold. So why sign him the new season ?
-One reason is that the player now is older > his value has dropped > his wage and bonus is less
-If we want to sack this player, this is for free (this is mostly for higher lv managers)
- If we aren't sure that we want this player for the next season and maybe sell him before the end of the season, better not sign him (and save the contract bonus).
-if we want to sign a new contract, first we do that and then we give (if we have) gathered skill points.
So if we have a young fast trainer , 20 y.o., in his 3rd season, sign him in the beginning of the season, before start earning skill points.
-If you have less than 14 players with contracts, the first (and only that) day, the game gonna give extra players, 3* veterans for free. After renew the contracts with your players, you can sack those guys for free (cannot sell them).
- If you have an early morning Cup game, your gonna play with those veterans, so people from west Europe or America must be careful.
