Can you go into Debt?

Simple question? I just came across this when I accidentally put in a bid which would mean I might go into debt, is this possible?

It is possible. you need to get back into positive funds or else your players will be sold to make up the loss.. Stating from your most valuable players

You have 7 days to get out of debt

I had -300M recently, still have 2 days to get out of debt. :p I'll sell a ton of players on day 1. :)

I bought a ton of cheap players lately to sell on for profit, all at 70% of their value, which I've noticed is the minimum. :p

Is this the buy at 70% and sell at 90% trick your basically doing to try and bring a few extra $ into the club?

Whenever I transfer list a player I always set the start price at 80%

Yes, so far I've sold two of them. :p I'll still make profit at the start of next season, I believe, just not as much. I had a ton of extra tokens from negotiations this season. Well, it was a ton to me. :p

I was hoping one day you could work your way upto 50 spare tokens just through negotiations and cash it in on a 4/9 22 year-old scout player for Trinity FC that you could keep for a few seasons and it would be a treat for yourself for all the hardwork you have put in at your team.

My budget's pretty tight at the start of every season, though. Maybe I'll be able to save up for that after I hit level 25. :)

selling cheap players is good job, hope it will get you out of minus ASAP. And LEague bonus will help you on day 1/28 50-60mil$

That's true, 84M tomorrow morning will take me right out of debt. If you read the earlier posts, I got into this position by buying players on the cheap, it'll show a profit when I eventually sell them.
