Hi members,
Did not manage to qualify for CL the past 2-3 seasons as my studies kept me too busy, but looks as if Im back in next season. Would just like to wish all the managers luck in the finals, some might need the luck (Gert) :D Post your results, would like to see how you all have done.

Im through to the CL finals and its my first real hope of winning the double.
Bar trolling, i think i will win the CL for the 2nd consecutive year.

FC Knudde (lvl 16) reached the finals of the cup for the first time in 17 seasons of playing, beating lvl 18 and lvl 20 players. Now up against a lvl 17 player who is by far the most dangerous player I have faced. He has 3 7* players. Wish me luck :)
FC Killroy missed out on the CL finale. Stupid home match which I couldn't attend was lost in 1-3 due to red card. My away match was 0-2 but was kicked out on away goals :(

Game starts. My opponent gets a lot more chances then I do. He scores and is 0-1 ahead. Grmblll. I notice he gets a lot more shots so I switch my tactics and give the passes over the flanks. One of his players receives a yellow card, then my MC gets a yellow. Nordeus, stop hating my MC pls. 60th minute he scores again 0-2.
Ok, time to pump it up. Go to very agressive stance and hope for the best. My striker takes a free kick and my trustworthy specialist scores. Woohoo, in your face, lvl 17 :p In the 77th minute my right winger passes 2 defenders and SCORESSSSSSSSS!!!! 2-2. Nailbiting!!!!!!!!!!!
88th minute. What is this? OMG another yellow card for my MC. Nordeus are you kidding me? That is the 4th red card for a MC in the last week, sigh. Stop annoying me. The referee books my player and whistles for the end of the regular playtime.
Extra time starts and I have to do some regrouping due to the red card. I bring in 3 new fresh players. And in the next 30 minutes I manage to keep the score 2-2. Statwise my advisary was a little bit better. His points per player however was almost 1 point higher.
So we get to the penalties. I pick 8 players. My first 2 players hit the corner flag. Really? Then my GK jumps in and makes 2 saves and we are 3-3 at the end of the first 5 penalties. Both score the 6th penalty. Then the 7th penalty. My advisary comes up and scores. Then my player is supposed to come up and all of a sudden there is no more image and I see only the comment that my player is nervous. Wham, image gone, you lost the penalties. What? No movie, nothing. Just wham, you lost? Oh crap. Well, it was a good fight and my team had a good run. I would high five all players for their effort. Bummer that I didn't experience my first Cup ever.
@killroy, unlucky bro, seems like it was a interesting match despite the Q difference.. Better luck next season ;)

Let me just say that having a good team is key, but formation is everything. Just my experience so far. Things might change from what i've been reading in this forum.

lost first round of cup on my main team, whole league season i'm being trolled so i'll finish 2nd or 3rd in that and got trolled in CL went to 9 rounds of pks and lost out on making the chamionship...
Won my first Cup Final today. Lost my only other Final in Season 2. Got CL Final tomorrow. Aced the cups this year but only 7th in League. Weird !

Been a combination of lucky and good. Couple of the matches against Delibas could have been losses, and frankly I should have lost at least once against him. In CL (1st leg), my star striker suffered a 13th minute injury and I ended up using 4-1-2-1-2 ND/4-3n-1-2 against 4-5-1 V. Today in the cup, a pair of defensemen hooked up for the 90th minute equalizer to force extra time.
Got a Champions League final to play later on today.
I'm in my 3rd season at the moment. Wasn't in the tournament in level 1, won the trophy at level 2 and hopefully I'll win it today at level 3. :)
This, added to my league trophy I won the other day (25 games and still undefeated by the way :) ) will make it a very good season!.....
