no... he should not remain, other than as sold, and not taking a slot. when you reload page he should disappear completely.

Yes, this happening to me too sometimes, that's why I remove players (from favorite) that I decided I 'm not interesting.
In that case, must load the game from the beginning.

* also try to clean cache-history
or try another browser too.

I f for some reason after the auction and after refresh the page the player still in the list so becomes persistent, by clicking player name and the heart should be enough to break his heart. LOL
