At least you get to choose the special ability you want this way, although it does cost a bit more than your scouts.

The plus side on that is that they can stay longer at the club. Scouts power trained probably 4-6 seasons on average and youth players at least 5 seasons. This is Suarez's 4th season and he was a fast player that I power trained

Oh great..Only NOW does a decent player show up on scouts. This is after I've made up my mind on training up my 5* striker to 7* and giving him a 1 v 1 special ability lol. Cba with scouts anymore, I'm going to do what the guy in my CL is doing... training up youth players and giving them special abilities

Scouts are only worth it if they are 22 years old and has a quality ending in 4 or 9. Otherwise it's not worth it and you're better off buying 5* fast trainers

18-19 years old 5* players , they are better than scouts

Depend on your team, but if you are at low level better buy 5 stars and save something for the next season too
