    League, Matchday 6:

    Rachid FC 0 - 2 New Team

A hard away match for New Team, which meets the 5th of the table in a match which went by harder then the stats in the end says. Despite the weird formation displaied by the opponent (3W-3N-AMC/AML-2ST) coach mad decided to use the wide gap between midfield and the too wide defense resorting to his usual 4-1-2-1-2 ND, letting Tom Becker act as pivot of the attack, trying to go for the spaces. Ideal setup for New Team with Lenders and Hutton in plain form. The first half is a show of overpowering pressure which brings New Team to play steadily in the opponent's half and area. Altho, Rachid FC shows an increadible defensive sturdiness and manages to deflect EVERY single attack from the goal. Proof is that of 6 corner kicks, ALL of them were earned during the first half, with the keeper barely being able to escape the shooting. Coach Mad, unsatisfied with the current going, decides to make his move in the second half: Becker and Hutton out (both pretty spent in the first part) for Nordin and Mellow, the young genius. Mellow takes the right wing while Nordin the left, changing from 4-1-2-1-2 ND to 4-5-1 V pressuring heavily the sides. Lenders become the offensive pivot, as he starts continuosly administrating the ball towards the wingers. Still, The goal seems cursed today. Not even Coach Mad at a point can stand the frustration, and the consequence is a snap bringing in Ulusoy for Harper, going then 3-5-2 V style keeping the AMs. The renewed pressure puts not once, but twice, the one on one specialist Ulusoy alone vs the keeper, but somehow he miracoulosuly manages to save twice.
Just when the match seems to be going for a goaless draw, Lenders snaps outta it. After jumping two defenders on his own, the third one chops him down. The successive free kick sees Paul Callaghan taking pride in his captain badge after HUtton left, with a wonderful curve ball which hits the bar and goes in. The magic is dispelled!
One minute later, is again Lenders getting free of the defender and serving the upcoming Rob Denton for the winning tap-in: 0-2, match secured for the boys. In the end, a bad fall caused Bob Denver to injury his ankle. Luckily enough the New Team's doctors managed to get on it fast enough, and by tomorrow he'll be ok. Will probably miss first league match tho to come back for the CL one.

    Statistics and Standings:

COach Mad's crew climbs back to the 2nd place behind the still unbeaten and unscored Bakuretsu Storm, which is dominating this first phase of the league. The morale is high, altho COach is worried about Ross. He's running out of options, and the DMC scored another 4 in today's match. Benching him seems the only way out atm.

    OFF:

Well, wtf. I'm starting to be really PO this game and how they make it work with tactics. With over 12 quality difference, and with one amc+ 2 st vs his 3 defenders, not even central ones (he had DL DC DR) i should have roflstomped him, expecially with the lack of DMCs on his side. Still, i had to resort on wings play in the second half (practically sending my boys towards his defenders instead of passing through them). My one-on-one specialit missed TWICE vs the keeper alone (a poor 18 Q one, too, no SA), and every shoots and passage to the goal ended up in either a corner or a miss (god bless stronger quality o.ò). Practically, EVERYTHING i witnessed in this match went against any tactical logic. Which makes the game not so fun. No point into building a good team if then non followed ones are able to withstand everything while your better players miss all chanches .-.

What??? The counter formation was flawed by a weaker 4-1-4-1??? I wonder if 3W-1-4-2 Is a better formation to use than 3W-4-3, with red arrows on the DMC to make it a flat 5 midfield while attacking?

I have my leage game in a few minutes. Should be a win he is playing an illegal formation with just 2 defenders by the look of it and a GK as his RM in a flat 5 midfield

League, round 6 - Real Madrid C.F. 0-11 Perfect Tactics

A very easy game for us resulting in a very big win. We seemed to put aside the cup loss and we wanted to inflict as much pain as we could on our opponents. Our first chance came on 2 minutes, Suarez went through on goal and Jonny Lamb made the run from DR but his shot went over. 5 minutes later, it was 1-0, Suarez from a Petersen free kick. The floodgates were opening, a minute later Mata made it 2-0 with a long range effort. Then a few minutes later it was 3-0 and Perfect Tactics were cruising to an easy 3 points, Balbuena with the goal and Suarez with the assist. The game quietened down for a bit but Mata showed up and went 1 v 1 with the keeper and made no mistake putting the shot away for 4-0. Two quick long range strikes for Petersen gave us a 6 goal lead just before half time. From here, it was only a matter of how many we would score.

Into the second half, 2 quick Suarez goals got him the hat trick and we were 8-0 up. Substitute Cazorla made it 9-0 from a long range strike before Petersen's free kick got our 10th goal of the game. Petersen loves late goals and he added another goal to his tally when Angeltti brought down a player just outside the penalty area and stupidly spitting on him. The referee had no choice but to send him off and Petersen's free kick flew into the top corner. He could have added another right at the end but the shot was blocked.

    Goals: Suarez (7', 50', 51' HAT), Mata (8', 34'), Balbuena (13'), Petersen (40', 43', 79' HAT, 85'), Cazorla (72')
    MOTM: Suarez
    Sent off: Angeletti (85')

Our biggest league win in the club's history.

Well I can start blowing my whistle and ranting but not gonna help. Nothing we can do about it even though it's *censorred*.

League Round 6: Barcwl Do Notre 0-2 Harrogate Town
    Goals: Blackstone (57'), Hirwan (87')
    MOTM: Hatake

This was looking like a stroll in the park as it was an inactive team and playing an illegal formation.
Harrogate were dominant in the game and every effort seemed to be off target or hit the woodwork. It was a very frustrating 1st half and no matter what Harrogate did they just couldnt hit the back of the net.
Harrogate manager David Winder decided enough was enough and took of Evra and Haruno and adding Daud and Hirwan to the attack. This bold move made a little difference as it was Hirwan who set Blackstone up for a simple tap in at the back post. Then with just minutes to go it was Giel who had missed 5-6 clear cut chances and missed them all crossed for Hirwan to make sure that Harrogate took all 3 points to continue there undefeated season in the league.

I was just greatful that we got the win and didn't concede any goals to continue the task of not conceding more than 2 all season.
