For the second day running, Billy Wheeler was left fuming, only this time it wasn't over the referee, but the team's laclustre performance in losing our first home league match of the season, against a long time adversary.

Result: LONDON CITY 0-2 PTO ALCUDIA
    Goals: Berrios 16, Heath-Preston 48.
    M.o.M: Diarra (PTO).

We never really got going and our visitors probably deserved their victory, in our opening home match of the league campaign. There's not much to report appart from the visiting goals, one in each half from Berrios and Heath-Preston. We hope this is only a temporary setback and we can get back on track tomorrow lunchtime.

Our cup match tonight, was against a superior opponent both in level and quality. But after seeing their strange formation, it gave us a boost, prior to kick-off.

Result: LONDON CITY 4-1 NIGEL FC
    Goals: Flanagan 4, Zola 41, Jeon 47, Morgada 73, Manning 77.
    M.o.M: Kyle Canning (LC).

After the earlier defeat, the lads came out firing on all cylinders. Seamus Flanagan's early strike seemed to inspire the team and we dominated for long periods, before Adam Zola doubled the lead just before the interval. Jeon gave the visitors some hope straight after the resumption, but they suffered a setback on the hour when midfielder Ciriaco received a second yellow. Towards the end, Flanagan crossed for Hector Morgada to make it three, and a few minutes later, Clayton Manning headed a fourth for us, from a Dave Kennedy free-kick.

Does the PTO stand for "Please Turn Over?" You seem to have some interesting battles with them over the seasons recently.

Haha. I wondered about PTO. Yes we play them regularly. First time, they beat us in final of CL (season 6). The following season we were in the same league and they beat us into 4th place (they were champs). Then last season, we turned the tables and finished 1st, while they were only 5th.

Now that the league game is over which is in favor of the Washi 4-0, its time for some serious team adjustment. We are playing the cup prelim in 2 hours time against opponent from the higher league. Its time for the stars to showup

Oh great... A DML/ML player appears on the transfer market. But the auction ends way after the daily maintenance and I won't be around to get him... So annoying

I have a feeling you could be right with this one. I may well test it out aswell when I have enough tokens to buy him. Plus just upgrading my u21 at moment so should give me plenty of time to get the money for it.
