The Universal Player: What is the Universal Player?
The Universal Player is a player that joins our clubs in Top Eleven each and every season, Every season forum members vote on positions and also help to decide on player names using anagrams or similar methods, The Universal Player is a way we can compare how we all manage on Top Eleven by comparing the universal player stats.
Rules
- We as forum members decide on a player first name, surname, playing position and nationality a player each season.
- At the beginning of each season you buy a player from the transfer market or the scout if you prefer to buy your player from the scout list containing the designated playing position. We buy the universal player as early as we can so we can get the best out of him by playing matches and training throughout the season.
- When you buy this player you then spend 1 token on editing the playing details of the player to give him the name of the universal player that we have chosen.
- Although it's not a direct competition, We can use a 'leaderboard' on apperances/assists/goals/motm.

Can I Join?
You can join at anytime throughout the season.
Can I buy a player with a Special Ability?
Yes, since some managers will buy a scout for their universal player they automatically have a special ability to start with.
Can I buy a player of any age?
Yes, The younger the better of course for development and the retaining of the player after the end of the season for future seasons.
Can I buy a player with more than 1 position?
As long as he plays in the position designated to him, then this should not be a problem because you could train the position.
Can I Power Train the Universal Player?
Yes, In fact, It would be good to see some Universal Players get Power Trained as the Universal Player is aimed to be a key squad player on purchase.

We are using the Poll runner-up MC for this Universal Player, The was also 5 votes for the DMC position. So I have decided to make it fair on most voters and managers to designate MC and DMC for the next 2 seasons before the next universal player position is decided.
If we come up with good names for players as well, I will also consider them. Also Suggestions of how to name future universal players are also welcome.
Any questions on how the universal player works is more than welcome, also any screenshots of your universal player is more than welcome in this thread.

NOTE:
When submitting an update for me to make amends to your score on the leaderboard, It best to post in this format: "P12 M4 G7 A3" for example. That means he has played 12 games, 4 man of the matches, scored 7 goals and made 3 assists, this will make it easier for me to calculate the score quickly or you can if you like post the screenshot of the current stats.
