Win bonus - does it work?

I've been using win bonuses for a fair few seasons now. When I win the league with games to spare I've turned it off in the past but found that my form hasn't really changed. I don't turn it on for select games, I just crank it to max for basically the whole season. My questions are:
Has anybody noticed much difference between win bonuses turned on and off?
If so, how have you noticed this difference?
Has it been when you've had it on for a long time and turned it off to find a form drop?
Has it been when you've turned it on against a set opponent?
Etc...

That's just silly, Kynan... anyone who has used Win Bonuses should answer.

I don't use them mostly because I am stingy, so I can't really express an opinion.

This is not a VIP manager speaking just a Manager that`s been playing this game for 2yrs+, I don`t use win bonus as with higher level wages are far higher than daily sponsorship and daily prize money so don`t need lose more money with win bonus, i`d rather save money for new player`s when i need them

In crucial matches I use win bonusses. If it doesn't help and I loose, no money lost. If I win then it is worth my money, I like to think. Just used it in a cup match and lost 1-2 against a level higher. The game was completely even so it might help but there is no real evidence.

yes tinkering with win bonuses is the only way to win big games. it's a double edged sword tho, once you start using it your players will expect it and their form will suffer if you take it away.

Win bonus is one of the unanswered questions of the game.
The answer for this kind of questions is "better have than not" :p
I put bonus in my CH.L. & Cup games (except the easy ones) and in my critical League games.
set to lv1 bonus except finals where I set the max.

You've noticed the change or are you making an assumption based on real life? Can you give me an example please?

My opinion is the win bonus gives your players extra spending cash to go buy whisky and hookers. Thereby causing them to sleep in late, miss practice and perform poorly.

I noticed the change last season as I was fluctuating my bonuses depending on the strength of my opponent last season in my league. After dropping my bonus to 0 from a couple games at mid level or max my squad form dropped to 5-7 from 7-9 for no reason. And the goal production dropped dramatically. My formation and squad selections were good. My only inference was that my squad was suffering a lack of motivation due to me taking their win bonus away and my opponent likely had his on. Now I only go progressively higher as the season/cup/CL go on as needed. This season I won the cup for the first time on my parent squad.

I also believe it to be part of the reason that i won this game this season on my junior squad. it was the first time all season i had maxed out win bonus.

Football is a business and money is an excellent motivator.

I have used it in nearly all my cup matches from round 1 and in CL matches from the 1/4 finals and I have won both trophies this season...

I use it, but to be honest I haven't seen any verifiable effect of it. So it is like nikolgiorgosSaid "better have than not" :rolleyes:

sure it dose work .. i beat many stringer sides bcz of it
only down side, is you lose good sum of money

I'm level 2. Win bonuses have cost me 1.1m this season, and I've gained 7.51m in competition prizes. I'd say win bonuses are crucial in any cup and champions league knockout match, as well as key league matches. Perhaps I've wasted some money on lesser league matches, but the competition was tough this season, and it was only yesterday that I clinched the league title.

well is nothing different than paying extra to buy new players .. is always good investment to have win bonuses .. only time i not use it when facing side who struggle and abandoned thus no chance of human change setting team to have bonuses against me .. or when i already win the league since some days like now
